Hey guys! Just a little Tidbit for the Golf Harlequin Colors. All 4 colors were available on the Golf normally. Chagall Blue and Pistachio was available on base Golfs just not for the United States market, and Ginster Yellow was reserved for VR6 GTIs only(except for some 2.0 GTIs for 1999) and Tornado Red was just the standard red that was used on all VW's of the period.

The Owner of Mansory here in Germany is from Iran originally and in German Interviews he pointed out that more than 90% of his Customers are rich People from the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and they always sell without a Problem. Can't really blame the Man for having found such a Niche and having become an insanely rich Person because of having found that. That said, i have seen at least 2-3 of Mansory Modifications that actually looked good, but then, they made over 50 Modifications (Speaking of full Modifications like in this Podcast). So that's not a lot, but also i'm German Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps

Fun fact: My uncle actually has a first gen Leaf. He bought it new back in 2011 or so (one of the very first batch sold in Portland) and still owns it to this day. It probably has maybe 30 miles of range but he pretty much only uses it for grocery runs and it works surprisingly well for that, It’s been very reliable, obvious range issues aside

I was seriously considering a grenadier - however I ended up going with a new Defender just due to the fact that the grenadier is just too compromised to be suitable as both a daily and an offroader. I've already got a compromised offroader - and I don't need another one. Thus I got the very nice, very comfortable new Defender which has been fantastic. Cool story I know.

16:45 You may be surprised on auto GR Corolla resale. The WRX auto resale market comes to mind. I am a car dealer and the 2 times we have gotten auto WRXs on trade they have sold immediately. 1 came from another state to buy it. Very few were made and there are buyers specifically looking for them. I don’t think they will bring more money but they may sell faster. I don’t know who is paying $50k+ for a new “tip” corolla but there will be people seeking them out on the used market in 5 years.

I think the GR Corolla automatic is useful, not just for people with some sort of health issue but for NPCs who might be interested in seeing what the hype for this Corolla is about but they didn't want a manual, now, the NPCs can start learning what a fun car is and hopefully become car enthusiasts in the future :)

If anyone wonder, the aforementioned TopCar company that created the body kit for ML is a Russian-based clone of Man Sorry. The ML is a rare exception of its tuning going not too bold with forged carbon and weird aerodynamic elements. Very surprised to see their products anywhere outside Moscow or Dubai. Btw the owner of the company very surprisingly possesses a pretty tasteful collection of nice and stock 90s-00s supercars.

If its a particularly strong gearbox or the final drive is really tight then the Auto GR Corolla will sell. Im sure Toyota knows this won't increase sales as people have no problem buying manual-centric performance cars otherwise. But yeah I do believe the slowest hot hatch drivers were Corolla/Matrix XR-S owners for sure. I feel both the available automatic and manual transmissions for those cars let them down and didn't inspire hard driving at all
