2:28 cereal isn't even cheap any longer. The favorite cereal that I grew up with... Is now $9 a box I haven't eaten it in years because it's also 58 carbs for a half a cup and it's considered a healthy cereal... It's not like it's fruit loops. I like crackling oat bran Even as a kid it was the best, because it basically tastes like you're eating sweet granola bars

Not only do so many not truly know what is healthy and what is not healthy anymore, but they are not appreciating the true pernicious significance of the damage they are slowly but surely and likely continually multiple times every single day subjecting themselves to as they more and more deeply embed themselves in the funnels of the intentionally created traps. People just do not understand the significance. And one main reason they don't understand the significance is because they can't often be bothered to make the effort to look outside of anything they think they already know, but often of which most is truly a corporate propaganda that is in the opposite of their best interests, whether they realize it or not. Additionally, the accelerated aging and disease process has largely been normalized and so also people will not be able to ever correlate what caused the Cascade of issues that their other family and peers also likely are going through.

I've always thought I'd be treated better at a vets office than my own Dr. I've worked in the veterinary field and many people feed a raw food diet, I always made sure clients were including organs in their pets' meal plan. Unfortunately the pet food industry is just as bad as the human food industry and Vets have been duped into believing that scientificly balanced dry food is the best choice. Whole unprocessed food is making a move though, it will only be a matter of time before Vets see the benefits.

I’m a child of the 70s from parents who were born in the 40’s. My mom died at 72 from complications due to dementia and in 2002,at the age of 58, my father had a massive stroke that left him permanently paralyzed. He’s in his 80s now, and although still plugging along, he suffers daily. So I grew up in the beginning of the processed food/diet era. Snackwells, Weight Watchers, the grapefruit diet, Jane Fonda high intensity aerobics, and Suzanne Somers thigh master were daily commercials my family was exposed to AND bought into. We ate home cooked meals mostly, but the snack foods were readily available. By the time I was pregnant with my first child at 33 years old, I had major anxiety, daily headaches, was overweight, and had achy joints. Right before my son was born was when my father suffered his stroke. I started then to understand the impact that his diet had on his health. He was almost 300 pounds at that time. The first thing I removed from my diet was HFCS and anything with artificial sweeteners. My headaches went away as well as my achy joints. Long story short, neither of my parents were interested in understanding the impact that food had on their health until my mother was already dying a few years back. At that time, I was already eating like Lillie and people were annoyed with me…even my family. At this point, I don’t care what people think about how I eat. I refuse to have a stroke in 3 years. I refuse to die of dementia in 20 years. I take not an ounce of medication for any condition at this point. Food is preventing me from needing to medicate and I want it to stay that way for the duration of my life. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think you shouldn't expect too much from doctors, they are providing a service that you are choosing to have, they aren't obligated to make sure you're healthy. Really just a job. The average person also doesn't want to do what it takes to be healthy and doctors are typically working with those types of patients all day, they probably aren't prepared for one of us to walk in to their office. It's a lot like when you go to buy a car, a dealership does not anticipate someone who actually knows what they're doing when it comes to buying a car so they will always assume you don't unless you give them a reason to believe otherwise.

I waited a moment and said, all those crazy words are chemicals that we don’t want in our bodies. She put the box back on the shelf.

I know you have good intentions doing this, but this is the absolute worst thing to do. What most people don't realize is everything is made up of chemicals (you should see the list of ingredients that make up a single pineapple fruit plucked from the tree: It's staggeringly long). Water is made up of chemicals (1 hydrogen and 2 oxygen), our bodies are made up of chemicals fusing and interacting to create harmony and balance in our anatomy. What you need to help your daughter understand are the KINDS of chemicals in the foods (because even trees and plants are made up of hundreds and hundreds of chemicals). For example, one of the scientific names for vitamin B3 is niacinamide, cobalamin and cyanocobalamin are two forms of vitamin B12, and the list goes on and on and on. Chemistry is an underrated and, in my opinion, crucial life skill to understand in this day and age where diet culture and scare tactics thrive on misleading the public.

@MrDavidknigge no I believe that most of my life. I had an NDE 10 years ago and God show me some things directly. One that my dad that died when I was 12 is aware of how I'm doing and if somebody gives me a compliment on being a kind good or humble man I can feel him smile. The other thing is in a strange way he showed me to be kind to brothers and sisters that were all brothers and sisters. Just recently I understood fully why I could feel my dad smile and not see him smile. The reason is because he's dead his body died his soul ascended to wherever we go whatever Dimension that is. When God shows you something it's profound and you know it beond shadow of doubt, absolutely you know it. Another thing God showed me recently I was just standing there and all the sudden I completely understood that our memories are not in our brain. Our brain is a processor it retrieves the memories from our soul. If our memory was in our brain the minute we died everything would be left in our body, in our carcass. I know beyond the Shadow of Doubt there is no hell, that doesn't exist when you die you have no body, you couldn't feel the fire if it existed, that's the way they keep you scared and afraid to look outside of the Bible, it's a man-made vicious circle that you get in and think you can't get out of it and it's just nonsense it's man-made it's absolutely nonsense fairy tales. If you clear your mind and your soul and you go to God directly and ask God what is real I promise you God will show you. Then you're not going to get anything because you already think you know it all because you believe what the Bible told you to believe. I want Humanity to be out of that prison. It's a mental prison that we create ourselves through the Bible's unfounded fears. There are no demons there is no hell there is no sin there is right and wrong plain and simple everybody goes to heaven I know these things beyond a shadow of Doubt because God showed me Himself. And I also understand my purpose here is to help other people see the truth, the truth that I have only fully understood in the last 3 months and started to understand about 3 years ago. You know what if I don't do this it will be fine God's not going to punish me but you know what I want to do it it makes me feel good to do it and I know it's the right thing and it helps all of us.

Yet, in this country, our lawmakers are not concerned about promoting health for ALL of us. Instead, our government is driven by corporate greed and the food and beverage industry is only interested in making money, which is in direct opposition to the best interests of the American people. I don’t think you understand how coupons work. Coupons are typically the manufacturers advertisement to try to get you to buy their brand. If a grocery store send out a coupon it’s to try to get people to come in to their store for already popular items there. A store in my area that offers organic food will actually have five dollars off $25 organic food purchases. When Oreos are five dollars a package it’s easy for the manufacturers to offer two dollars off what’s purchased whether it’s three dollars or five. However, if you would like to start a meat company and offer coupons for your brand of meat you’re more than welcome to do that in a capitalist society, but most prices are already about as cheap as they can go. But remember only in a capitalist society is the person with the most power the person doing the buying. They are the ones that get to decide what becomes the popular items at the grocery store not the grocery not the companies the buyer. So the things that you purchase every single day or month are the things that you are making more popular in a capitalist society where are your financial influence influences the way the world goes not by supporting politicians, but by supporting products. Organic and keto became prevalent when people start buying organic and keto not because of any political stuff, organic and keto are becoming less prevalent as people are no longer purchasing it as much. Right now, people are struggling financially, and therefore affordable becomes king. There’s also supply and demand things like pineapples used to cost $1000 each. It takes years to grow them, but then people wanting money started growing them only for the supply to increase beyond demand and the price to Drop. The stuff is basic economics and it is important that you know it, or you’ll be manipulated, tricked, and used due to a good heart, but lack of an education on economics. Government help also creates government disasters. You know why high fructose corn syrup is so prevalent? People begged the government to help farmers with food costs and non-oil gas costs and now fast growth chemicals covered corn is now cheap and locally sourced oil is stopped in favor of the government paid for corn derived high fructose corn syrup, and ethanol. Oh, and let’s not forget the Obama years where whole wheat added pizza was Michelle Obama’s health food counting as two vegetables. Federal government being involved in American eating habits is actually probably the biggest problem. Chemical laden fake meat products from GatesFoundation will probably be the next to be supported and I completely disagree with that and therefore pray strongly against it so all their currently horrible ideas fall flat on their face. Let local people be educated themselves and educate their local schools and stores on what they want based actually on what they want and not let those who stand against capitalism, such as Bill Gates continue to control Americans, where they actually have no right to control Americans unless you let them through by not knowing the basics and and therefore, being easily manipulated by those who promised to save people from capitalism when actually capitalism is letting people continue to have choices and rights.

We have 5.5 year daughter. 95% of our American diet is real food. Which means meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans/ legumes. She eats what we eat. On occasion she gets sweets and junk food. The rule is eat healthy food first and bad food after ie little room in her belly for processed sugar madness. I have had and continue to have many dietary conversations with parents. I hear the most my child won’t eat healthy food!!!! This drives me crazy. Cause it’s solely the parents chose to feed their child whatever food. So it’s to put bluntly the parent’s laziness is why their children are eating bad food. Parents can read and pay with their wallets. Daily I see kids behavior problems directly connected to food. It’s really upsetting..:

I just shared this across all my social media and texted it to my friends. I was literally, LITERALLY pondering just earlier this morning how Europe has banned so many ingredients that America still uses. There’s even a phenomenon where if people move from the US to Europe, a lot of the times their health issues resolve and they mysteriously lose excess weight. It’s literally because the food they’re eating there isn’t nearly as laden with these harmful chemicals and adulterated ingredients. Something has got to change. My heart BREAKS over this. 😪

Europe has also banned many of the medications that are still legal in the US. Many of the birth control pills and patches that we use here were deemed too dangerous in Europe. It's well known that they cause blood clots, breast cancer, and pernicious anemia... Europe also has laws against advertising pharmaceutical products on TV or elsewhere. If American TV stations stopped running pharma ads, they'd have nothing left to air!

Hi Lillie, love your show. Quality food is important! But no one seems to be talking about how impactful our emotions are on our health .Particularly self-love, and self regard. Feelings of guilt, shame, and high stress are plaguing people and destroying their health. I’m a trauma survivor like you. When I started healing myself emotionally, then my chronic illnesses started to go away. I am a firm believer that almost all illness has an emotional component. The good news is, when you heal yourself emotionally and spiritually you naturally start to take better care of yourself, which includes cleaning up your diet.

Lillie you are amazing and such an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for what you do. Healthy food is so important. My father has dementia and my mother died at age 63 with aplastic anemia. I have changed my diet completely. No soda no fast food. Drink lots of water and eat lots of meat and some vegetables and some fruit. It is made a huge difference for me. I don’t want to end up like my mother and like my father. Honestly, they just didn’t know better. God bless you all.❤

I'm home about 9 hours a day. I use that to do my hygiene and sleep. I can't afford my own place and live in transitional housing where I have a roommate, inside my room. Not only can I not afford while foods, I have no where to prep and keep food. So if this is the best I've been able to do in my almost 40 years of life with my college education, how am I ever going to get to a point where I can be healthy? I make to much money to get insurance through the county, and not enough to afford it through work. How am I ever going to provide for a spouse, kids, and ideally a traditional family? Let alone eat healthy. 😢

Go to an indian grocery store and buy dried lentils and rice. Soak the lentils overnight before cooking them for max nutrients. And check out youtube, there are tons of variations on how to cook rice and daal, super easy, cheap and nutritious.

Get canned fish, like sardines or canned salmon. It’s affordable. And grow your own sprouts from a mason jar. Fun, easy, takes 5 days, nutritious, very inexpensive. Look at broccoli seeds and radish seeds. And add pumpkin seed or other nuts/seeds for more nutrients that are shelf stable, tasty and can be eaten raw without needing to cook. Also fast and easy. Basically, that’s all food I eat camping.

To me, I guess weird is how little we talk about how much carcinogenic chemicals are in and on fruits and vegetables today. Even when you think you're trying to do the right thing, you're contaminated.

Yes, and some of them can't be rinsed off! The chemical used on citrus and melons, for example, penetrates through the rind. It is illegal for use in the states and Canada, but not in the countries where we import them from!

Some college students happened to decide to test what was in some boxed cereal at one point. They found the cardboard from the box had more nutrition than the cereal. Since then, I think it has gotten far worse, with increased sugar content, dyes, etc. For pennies, a little grain is turned into expensive "food". We all have to keep working towards "real" foods...

Ok that’s fine. Most people are on the edge of being homeless. How does that help if they can’t afford $70 for organic food for dinner. Irish so this doesn’t apply to me. But I realized asking tons of people. They don’t have the money or energy or time to buy fresh Whole Foods. Cook it. Clean up all the dishes and pots. For one meal. Most kids don’t want to eat rice and beans. Or most wouldn’t eat a potato and kale 😂

I'm coming up on 2 years strict carnivore/animal based. I lost 70lbs in the 1st six months and kept it off for the 1st time in my 56 years. I preached carnivore like it was a religion until my friends and family begged me to get psychiatric help. I'm sadly now very closed lipped about it. I even got crap about quitting alcohol. Oh well.
