Absolutely love LOVE your KZbin channel! Three years ago I tried a more plant based nutritional menu due to GI difficulties. My doctor advised adding more and more greens and starches to my meals for fiber as I had been getting a lot protein from chicken and tuna. That was the key.... more FIBER! I definitely love the way I’m feeling with this nutritional plan! Almost 100% plant based now!

I love your videos and your lovely little family. I appreciate the detailed explanation and ton of information. THANK YOU For me breakfast and lunch are the easy meals --> so used to oatmeal & fruit (or porridge as we say in the UK :-), salad for lunch (I usually have 1/2 cup of black beans with my veggies to keep me full). What I struggle with is early afternoon hunger/cravings - I will try to incorporate the 3pm snack --> the only issue I have with it is that if I have too much I don't want dinner at dinner time and if I don't have the snack I get super tired/hungry by 4.30 pm. Need to find the right time and portion to make it just enough. Dinners in my family has to cater for 3 non vegan and me. However my lovely non vegans (husband, teenage daughter and toddler daughter) love veggies, so I can adapt majority of vegan meals for them. Looking forward your next video

Your sustain looks almost identical what I've been eating the last 11 years lol :) Think having consistent/ reliable energy everyday, has been the biggest benefit. As well as other means of fasting, over the years. Much love to you, beautiful family ❤

Love your videos. So much inspiration and motivation. Thank you! What kind of taste and texture does the sun warrior protein powder have? I haven't found any that don't give a nasty taste or gritty texture. I've tried Bob's vanilla protein powder, garden of life protein and some cheap proteins and I just can't do it. I've had whey protein powders that tasted good from GNC but they are filled with artificial ingredients and animal product.
@EatMoveRest4 жыл бұрын
We love SunWarrior! I only use a half scoop of the Vanilla, but I recommend trying the Natural flavor as well, because it’s more mild. I love it even with just one frozen banana and a scoop blended with a splash of water. Typically though, we recommend blending your protein powder into a fruit smoothie for optimal taste!

Thanks for sharing and taking the time to explain the differences around gaining - maintaining - losing weight. I'm a mom to 2 very energetic boys. I'm breastfeeding for almost 4 years in a row, my 1st son for 2 years, all the way through my 2nd pregnancy and jumped right in with my 2nd son, who is 22 months now and still going strong 💪 But I was not eating so healthy with both my pregnancies and I gained A LOT of weight, and decrease enourmesly the amount of exercise (BTW, would be great if you could share some of your tricks and tips to exercise since having a baby 🙏). Recently I have been feeling terrible, like I'm constantly sick, and having plenty of health issues. No one likes to feel that way, right? The answer from my doctors?! Pills, pills, and more pills. No surprise. I know it will take a little bit of time until I manage to feel like myself again, but i refused the medications and decided to do it the natural way. Your channel is one of my go to's to keep it simple, efficient and healthy. Intuitively I'm having only a green smoothie for breakfast and it keeps me full until lunch (Another thing: I have terrible problems with taking the greens raw, so I cook them for few minutes just to soften them and I've seen great improvement with my digestion - it's not totally raw, but it works. Anyone having similar problem? Why is that? And how to fix it?). Now with summer it's easier to have a salad for lunch, but I have troubles with eating salads during the winter. And anyways I'm surprised with all the amount of food that you guys suggest!!! Beautiful family anyways. Keep shining light and bright 💫✨🌟🌞👌💛

Hi Erin, From this video I understand that you get most of your protein from powders? Because beside the evening meal it looks like it is not so high on protein. Thank you for the video!!
@EatMoveRest4 жыл бұрын
I aim to get about 70% carbs, 15% fat and 15% protein each day, and with protein without the protein powder I hit that mark, but yes, you could say most of the more protein dense foods come in at dinner time! Most plantbased doctors actually suggest an 80/10/10 ratio! But that’s kind of why I included options for oats, adding grains and beans to lunch salads, tofu at dinner, etc for added calories and protein if you want to bump it up! Some day are different for me too, sometimes I’ll include more protein rich foods but most days I feel best doing it this way! Maybe I can share a high protein what I eat video soon... Hope this helps!

I currently live in Jamaica and it is hard and expressive to eat a plant base diet. But I will be returning to live back in the US in July 😀 . I current do Intermittent fasting to help with my weight goal at 51. Is this really necessary to do when you are on a plant base life style since your meal will be plant base and no meat. One more question. Do you recommend a little Salmons once a week for Omega oils. Help plz and God bless
@EatMoveRest3 жыл бұрын
We do not do much fasting, and find that eating and early dinner and letting the body rest is enough of a daily "fast." Whole plant foods digest rather quickly and efficiently and fasting can be dangerous and damage metabolism! We take an algae omega from SunWarrior because salmon contains cholesterol and saturated fat, which isn't great! Use EATMOVEREST to try out the SunWarrior Omega! bit.ly/3lhZ4pC

I’m very new to all this and was confused about the oatmeal? Is cooked oatmeal considered “raw”? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, like I said, I’m new to all of it!
@EatMoveRest4 жыл бұрын
No not a dumb question at all! Usually the hubs has oatmeal in the morning! And with eating high raw, or raw til 4, don’t feel like you have to entirely limit yourself to raw foods throughout the day. Instead, just place an emphasis on incorporating lots and lots of fresh fruits and veggies, but if you want something more, then enjoy! Hope this helps! (We try not to be super militant if we feel like eating something that isn’t raw during the day)!
Hey guys, thanks for the content. Just wondering if you have had your iron and b12 levels checked and how you maintain high levels of these? I eat a mostly plant based diet, however I often get low iron and doctors always recommend that I eat more read meat (which I hate) do you supplement and if so which ones do you take?
@EatMoveRest4 жыл бұрын
B12 is the most important vitamin to supplement! We take a liquid supplement for that as well as D3. We keep iron levels up by eating lots of lentils, beans, legumes, grains, organic soy, and also pairing iron-rich foods with vitamin c-rich foods can aid in optimal iron absorption! Hope this helps!!
