people confuse Kurtis' "funny stoner" vibes for bi/pansexuality. most straight people aren't as cool as Kurtis. that said, he's literally told us he's straight. it isnt a 'compliment' to say "he CAN'T be straight!!!" it's actually incredibly insulting to undermine his sexuality. I'm a bi girl and agree he has bi vibes, but he's fucking straight y'all, he's said so.

yeah agreed, it comes off as heavy fetishizing from some kid who probably doesn't really understand sexuality yet. almost like they see him as a fictional character they're headcanoning as gay. in reality someone's sexuality is none of your business. especially, imagine if they were right and he was bi and closeted or something, that would have just been a real dick move trying to seriously speculate about something he wasn't comfortable sharing.

Totally agree. Kurtis has said he's straight. And just in general people's sexuality is their business, plus it's not a simple matter, sexuality is a spectrum , for many people it's clear, for many people it's not. And I feel like a lot of the Kurtis stuff comes from him just not having toxic masculinity, like that's what opens the door to people to assume his sexuality, which is so incredibly fucked up .

it made me so mad that she used the “east” as an example, not sure why, but maybe because asians aren’t as culturally progressive as western society? my family is extremely conservative and so are all the other asian families i know. there ARE asian men who want to dress in traditionally female clothes but CANT because they would be ridiculed and exiled from their family, people like candace owen, who don’t believe in non traditional self expression. edit: i don’t know much about the culture of eastern europe, but by how many people are describing, that could be what she was talking about! i’ve only heard “east” as referring to asia, so that’s what i assumed :))

I had the same initial thought when she was in the tub with 3 or 4 other men and a (probably male) entire production team staring at her crotch and laughing. Made me v uncomfortable. Had no issues with Kurtis's jokes about guys making fart jokes though, it was a funny take on the whole situation. But I also would not have laughed if I was her in that situation.

Ugh society sucks The words “feminine” and “masculine” shouldn’t even exist. I never understood what they mean besides representing stereotypes based on gender. People should just be people, and clothes should just be clothes. Men’s and women’s clothes shouldn’t exist, it should just be dresses or pants or shirts. And even if someone doesn’t agree with this, they don’t have to yell about it to other people. Keep your opinions to yourself, they won’t change anything. All you’re doing is spreading hate for no reason. Ok rant over I just needed to say that

This is nothing new, men that dress in an androgynous or 'feminine' fashion isn't anything new. Think Prince, David Bowie, heck even Michael Jackson and they're some of the most desired men to Grace the music industry. This only demonstrates there is nothing more attractive than a man who is comfortable and confident with themselves.

Comfortable and confident...and unafraid of people calling them feminine or womanly. There's nothing more unattractive than a dude who is so misogynist that being called feminine or having it even mildly insinuated about them is their achilles' heel and makes them want to bend over backwards to push away anything remotely associated with women and girls. And it's funny because part of doing so is expressing attraction for women - even while disavowing everything women are "supposed" to be (I say "supposed" because femininity as well as masculinity is really just a societally-produced reality rather than a naturally occurring set of traits)
