It's a fair question and I had to revisit the data. Women make up 14.4% of the US Military (all branches including National Guard and Reserves). In the Army, women make up 17% of all personnel. Data is from 2018.... Now, women are able to serve in every job in the Army, including Infantry and other Combat jobs
