Could I add that during the will smith genie scene from the trailer, that to me it literally looks like his face is a mask attached to a body. You sort of mentioned that, but the face wrinkles makes it look like a mask outline to me and that’s just not normal.

Don't tell me Corridor Crew bought into that crap. They're smarter than that, surely? There's tons of evidence that exposed all the lies, contradictions, manipulated editing (mostly of footage stolen right off youtube, that anyone can see the full versions of in proper context) and huge finanicial motives (multiple failed lawsuit attempts trying to get Jackson's money, both before and after their 'documentary' and their stories change after every failure to try a new angle).

Surprised you guys didn't mention the sharpness in Jurassic World. That's what made it noticeably fake, for me. Chris Pratt & co. all look like they were filmed in 1080P with heavily applied beauty filters to soften out any wrinkles or blemishes. His outline isn't crisp. Then this velociraptor comes stomping into the scene in 4k HD perfect focus with super crisp lines and bright, shiny highlights indicating damp/wetness. The actors -- who should be sweating from fear and exertion -- don't have half the shininess of the raptor so that plus the difference in focus/sharpness is impossible to ignore, kind of like the Scorpion King scene where he had crisp lines and no sweat while the real actors were shiny with sweat and their outlines were smoother and more feathered.

I've been doing vfx as a hobby (not nearly as good as corredor) for a while. The thing about that Aladdin trailer is the genie wasn't totally finished in that shot, yet. Disney felt pressured to release another trailer for the film since their traction for The Lion King hit a high, and the high needed to continue. Cue the hype train: we end up with a trailer where I can totally imagine the VFX artists pleading with the trailer editor like, "Please please please no, it isn't finished rendering totally; the proportions need to be adjusted; the lighting needs to be adjus--" but they needed to pump out something quickly. Find a clip of the finished version. Looks way better.

You should do some reactions to The Lord of the Rings and compare it to The Hobbit. A huge difference here between practical effects and CGI.
