Do you know how to create an event that sets a national modifier? I tried making an event that flat out increases the assimilation rate for the player country but it simply won't work. I am missing some syntax that I can't find anywhere online

I have a question, how can I add another option? I made another option in the file like you said on the video, but when I triggered it in game they just merged and only one option appears but it does also does the effect from the other option.

That means you have a problem with your code, adding option = { } is enough to add another option for an event. Check your brackets and make sure they all close properly.

I didn't see yo mentioning this, but for a photo to work in an event you need for file to be type *tga

Yes it has to. You can just copy one tga event picture and just overlap it with your actual photo and save it
