I like how the Russian accounts here are coping atm Keep on delivering at least some more decent content like these in monthly uploads. We’ll all be seeing how the combat goes into the nearest bleakest future. Stay fit, be cool, and see the accounts cope and mald on seemingly outrageous reports they watch and seethe over. I’d like to hear their thoughts about Russian nationalist and military bloggers or users loyally criticizing the subpar performance that the overestimated Russian forces have been doing so far here.

I have noticed that "in error" there have been videos or maps posted that have shown Crimea as not being lost by Ukraine. That drastic of an Error has always resulted in an immediate unfollow/unsubscribe/thumbs down/report in any way possible to ensure my point has be made short of physicaly putting Snoop upside the head of whoever had broadcasted that way.

One needs to be wary of Oryx's numbers - their methodology is very stringent, which usually is a good thing, however in this instance it only accounts for a fraction of hard losses each side experiences. And not at all for hardware that is down for maintenance.

A couple of months ago someone did an analysis of Oryx numbers vs. a russian military comms intercept of losses reported by one of the russian Brigades. IIRC it was of T80 tanks (T80U?) as they were the only russian unit with that particular model. Anyway, Oryx numbers were about 72% of the russian losses reported so Oryx is potentially undercounting by almost 30%. Is it true overall, probably not as I struggle to believe the plane and helo numbers reported by Ukraine but, at the same time, I do believe Oryx is under-reporting as he only counts losses with photo/video evidence.

Orynx has 800 tanks listed as lost, so the real number is well past 1,000. Combine this with the fact Russia only had 2,000-3,000 actually functional tanks and it is pretty clear why Russia's offensive power is now exclusively relying entirely upon artillery. This is at a time when Russia can't even make a car with seat belt tensioners (The Lada Granta Classic is made using only domestic parts and lacks Anti-lock brakes, air bags, stability control, emissions controls, and seat belt tensioners to name just some of the features from the 1970s it lacks).

Russian nationalists complain about what the war looks like, but that doesn't mean they are against it. A thought occurred to me in this video. You're essentially making the modern version of those propaganda news films that the allies made in the 40s. I don't mean that disparagingly or to imply that you're lying/misleading viewers, but rather I think it's just fascinating that we may one day have your videos or others like it used in documentaries and presentations about what people heard about this war while it was going on. Instead of reading about how civilians watch news reels in theaters back home, we'll read about how civilians watched this unfold online and got coverage from independent creators. Remember, just because it's propaganda doesn't mean it's untrue. The Japanese did indeed attack Pearl Harbor and they did it dishonorably during peacetime before declaring war. The truth can be propaganda's most powerful weapon. The point of Propaganda is to convince someone to adopt a certain viewpoint, something that perhaps Kings and Generals is not doing, but rather report the news with the flimsy amount of information available.

War moves quickly. In Desert Storm by the time the people in Iraq found out they were officially at war with the West NATO forces had already crippled their high command and taken out communications, the Iraqi high command didnt even know NATO bombers had already crossed the border and picked targets until their comm systems went down. Iraqi soldiers only knew they were at war when Apaches were raining hell fire missiles and auto cannons at them and at that point standoff and cruise missiles were already on target. By the time anyone even knew they were officially at war half the fighting was already done. In WW2 there were similar stories with some battles and engagements only making the news after the fighting was finished and youd have to wait days to find out who won and it could take weeks before families found out if their child had died in the battle but compared to WW1 where the same thing would take weeks instead of days.

I definitely don't support the whole invasion thing, so don't get me wrong, but Russia isn't losing as badly as some people claim. While the Russian economy is in terrible condition because of the imposed sanctions and the preexisting crisis, the Russian government was intelligent enough to have certain contingency plans ready as the invasion was planned. The West, and especially the EU, became so dependent on Russian gas and Ukrainian wheat through the years and are now paying the price for it. For me, as a Greek citizen already in a dire financial situation since 2010, paying 80-85% of my monthly salary on rent, electricity, fuel and food, a 50-60% price increase of said items essentially condemns me into extreme poverty, all because our government and the EU didn't have the insight (or had but chose not to) to prepare for something boiling since 2014.

@@ingloriuspumpkinpie9367 I can only speak for my country, news reported that Russia and Ukraine are Greece's #2 and #3 grain importers with really low prices on top of that. (32M$ annually to Russia and 18M$ to Ukraine or something like that), since diplomatic relations with one are severed and the other country cannot export properly, they'll have to find, higher priced alternatives. Now for gas I think Russia is the #1 provider for all EU and covers percentages above 50% for most countries while again being really cheap. Still, feel free to correct me with numbers, but overall life has become way too expensive for many Europeans since the war began.

How would the EU or national governents justify such a massive switch of energy or grain imports from Ukraine or Russia during peacetime, especially if they would source them from more costly sources? Cooperation with Russia was supposed to guarantee some sort of decent ecenomic and diplomatic status quo, albeit Putin's mania was quite in the play as a wild card. Securing resources on short and medium terms is costly and has a massive political and social impact, see how separating EU's economy from Russian gas is playing out now (high inflation, recession, economic instability). As its military position, Russian economy is not in as dire situation as many have put it. They are taking advantage of higher gas prices to sell to other parties and to Europe at higher prices for lower export quantities. Strangling Ukraine's grain exports also ensures a slower cash flow to the country and implicitly less funds for the Ukrainian war machine.

It would also be good to indicate the difference between a TDF Bde and and Ukrainian Army Bde. Whilst TDF is light infantry they have far less capability including almost no Support Company elements (mortars, assault pioneers, Direct Fire Support Weapons/Heavy Weapons platoons) this needs to be indicated to give some level of the measure of combat capability.
