This brought back many memories while I was maintaining Frac sand trucks in the Bakken Oil fields . So drivers just used to ram the PTOs like it was 5 spd manual . And yes the Wet kits had to be insulated from the cold winds of ND . But managed to make a living for 10 yrs plus in the Bakken fields . Nice clip ...

I did this exact job today. With just a sealing gasket I had 6 thou. Torqued all fasteners and I had 4 thou. Gonna try and find a thicker gasket tomorrow.

Thanks Warren, I use to spec and sell Chelsea PTO’s and once in awhile install them, and not being that proficient at installs I usually ended up taking the stinking thing off and adding a shim and every time I added a shim gasket thinking I was going to out smart it i ended up pulling the PTO Off because I had to much gear lash, I think maybe I would hit one in five installs dead on from the first install, found it a bit irritating at times,😊😂😂, you got a nice install going, going to be interested in how you finish out. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.

Just installed a PTO, in a 2018 Pete 579 last weekend, me and a friend got it done (minus the Hydrolic lines), had to wait until Tuesday to get Hydrolic lines made and install

Nice video Warren.I'm wondering who else out there does not like Muncie PTO's, i always have had problems with them leaking and pulling the flange threads etc with a C102 pump on them (with the support in place).Chelsea make a much better unit in my opinion.
