I love the friendship between red and blue here, even though they're rivals, they're still friends in the end. And when the gym leaders showed up, SABRINA included, AND NIDOKING CAME BACK TO HELP RED, I popped off so hard. I can say for sure that the approaching battle is gonna be intense!

This episode is brilliant. Silver’s redemption and Mewtwo mind controlling Red made it different but fully explained logical what happened in the game. The Gym Leaders appeared are epic. Silver still has a way to go since we're seeing the damage Giovanni has done to him. Keep hoping we get the Johto chapters down the line. I gotta wonder how this experience will change Blue since in the last chapter, he screwed up by knocking out Vilplume just to keep his pride up. This will probably be the beginning of the fall then rise of Blue. Also, I want to see Oak confront Giovanni.

Out of the two leaders from the extremist teams located in Hoenn, it makes sense that only Maxie shows up to consult an alliance with Giovanni considering that Team Magma's all about creating an environment more fit for humans than Pokémon (something that pretty much falls in line with Giovanni's goals) while Team Aqua's all about changing the weather so that too much water equals more Pokémon and less humans around. Leaf showing up to assist Red and Blue against Mewtwo sort-of reminded me of when Wonder Woman joined Superman and Batman in their fight against Doomsday in the Batman v. Superman film.

I was honestly expecting a bit of a gap between Gio getting Mewtwo and the rematch with Red/Blue. But no, it makes total sense that he'd go power-mad right away and throw away his less mindless supporters (Blaine and Silver). I really love how you pulled almost every strong trainer in Kanto to deal with the global threat. I guess it's what Gen 5 did, and yeah when the villain starts wrecking stuff with a legendary this is the sensible thing to do.

Holy shit, this was probably the best episode yet. :O Not as emotional as the previous ones pre-Lavender Town, but damn was it epic on a whole other level! In a way, seeing how Giovanni from Team Rainbow Rocket did have a Mewtwo, I didn't find it at all implausible that he would own his creation in the end, so that's a really nice touch! :P And I also appreciate the little attention to detail like Blaine not joining the other gym leaders, Silver being the true hero who gathered them all, Red not showing any kind of resentment inside towards his rival despite what Mewtwo did and of course the RedXMisty ship. It's these kinds of details that help better flesh out this great story. ^_^

Wow. That escalated quickly! I love it! Seriously I was like, wow! The first time I watched it and I still get emotional while watching it. Like how you tied everything together. the music. rival battle. the gym leaders showing up. Wondering where the elite four are though (My thoughts when I first watched it). Everyone is back!
