I wonder if Mike watches these videos and feels sad how it ended. From the video where he slagged off Edd a while after it ended, I am guessing not. I think the issue is that Mike always believed he was the main and only star of the show, and actually didn't have much respect for Edd and his work, which is why most people watched. Does the same with Ant.

I would have to say that co-hosting Wheeler Dealers was the most difficult job Mike Brewer asked Mr. Ed to do. But he did it well. So, Good Luck to both gentlemen.

Bull Sh**t video. Just as you say. I've worked with bosses like that. They do know an awful lot, but would be incapable if left alone. Ed liked his job and mike, they got on well together and wanted to get the same type of cars on the road again. When Ed got fed up he left and the show went downhill fast because even though another good mechanic replaced him, he was nowhere as good as a person. The rest is down to script and editing.

Edd left and did his thing, he's happy, Mike carried with his thing, he's happy, move on folks. They're both doing their own great things and they did great things together for years. Enjoy watching it all or don't, really. Stop fighting for people who clearly are happy with their own life choices like anyone gives two sods that their business keeps you up at night.

YES. Great place to advertise EDD'S new Wonderful Fantastic Superb Chanel on You Tube. DIY SOS was just about to go under as well but it seems to have been saved. Not that I have watched TV for the past 4 years. We just get news on how bad it is now. We met EDD in superb person. Lucky I do not need a 2nd hand car from Sheffield!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a TV show people, Mike is playing a version of himself. If you ever meet him in person, which I have here in SoCal, you would know he is very gracious and personable.

@@tomakafrankconlon3207 Not mention Mike disses every car mod he finds in the cars he buys , (most modifications were nice) in the RX7 FB episode they removed the ITB's , turbos , the Intercooler , suspension and that nice pair of Watanabe RS wheels to put the ugly stock ones with hubcaps , and that ugly carburetor with filter and in the episode of the red 300ZX they removed all the stuff from Nismo including the Nismo LMGT2's any Silvia or Skyline with those wheels gets more value on the market and Nismo it's owned by Nissan technically OE , but well mike it's a crazy dumb purist that's why when it comes to collectors I prefer Jay Leno because he respects the modified cars and he owns some tuners .

I don't get all the Mike Brewer hate. The whole point is that this show is a double act and the sparkle is in the chemistry between the two. TBH, much as I love EDD, his stuff can be a bit pedestrian at times without that edge in the show.

Agree with the comments below Edds new channel is so much better than Mike Brewer, the producers should have got rid of Mike instead. The producers definitely made the wrong decision.. they should take Edds channel and make it into a TV series.

They might call it a hemi, but being a maths geek there's no way in hell that's a hemisphere. A hemisphere is exactly half a sphere.... those chambers are the slice off the top of a sphere. The correct term is a cap or a dome... most certainly not a "hemi".

Hey people, Edd was great on Wheeler Dealers, yes, but Mike was just as much a part of the Wheeler Dealers aesthetic we all enjoyed over the years. Ant is different than Edd but has his own style to enjoy. Why not support both!? Wheeler Dealers and Edd's Workshop Diaries. I'd certainly rather have more car shows than less in this anti-car era we are in. Picking sides like this is some kind of car show war is pretty damn juvenile.
