Dude in the last clip was complaining that he got "burnt down", which actually is a thing. Basically, he was saying that the flagger, who gives the go to launch, held him there revving for too long, which heat soaks the motor and definitely impacts the performance of the run. This can happen at professional drag events at drag strips also, when the other driver takes their time staging (getting their front tires into the laser beam, which signals that the driver is ready to go, and then the countdown tree can go), which is obviously frowned upon and unsportsmanlike, because it leads to the other driver sitting there revving too long and heat soaking their motor, impacting their run. A colder motor combusts better than a heat soaked one, because, physics lol. Either way, while the dude did end up revving a little less than a second longer than the Supra, it wasn't enough to be crying that he got burnt down. I've seen much, much worse than that.

GT3 (and RS version) is naturally aspirated. GT2 (and RS version) is twin turbo version. GT1 is a twin turbo Le Mans racer with a few "Strasse" or street versions made.

I'm the guy that loves building shit boxes that eat high dollar sports cars. I once built a 11.59 second 1994 escort GT 5 spd with N2o. I had a 1998 caravan that I put a modified Mitsu v6 and 5spd stick in. It probably went 13.8. I had a highly modified Fiero GT 4spd getrag that did high 10's. Right now I am driving a 1995 Saturn sw2 5spd with a modified engine, just haven't put the N2o on it yet Nothing more satisfying than handing a $200k car it's ass with a shit box. Btw, I'm a 34+ year certified master auto technician that was born with a need for speed. I have built and driven very fast cars throughout the years. I just did a 22 stingray a year ago. I installed a 200hp c7 N2o kit on it and a cold air intake. That is a very fast, and very smooth beast to say the least. I don't know what it runs, but if I had to guess, somewhere around a 9 flat in the quarter.

Getting burned down means they held you at the line too long and if you hold the trans brake for too long it can literally burn the trans clutches / which an over heated sequential trans won't shift right, launch or lockup the converter correctly, or at all.
