Why is no one talking about how we were all probably angry at the little boy for going back for the smoothie, only for that stupid action to end up being helpful because he made the monster fall into the blender? If he hadn't annoyingly gone back for the smoothie, both of the kids probably would have died.

If they ran off the moment they were both free and the guy was down, considering how it took the guy some time to get up, they probably would’ve escaped, but what they did here saved them lives of many others, whereas if they merely ran away, children would still constantly be getting eaten. The smoothie did help, but I think they would’ve managed to escape without it, although at least they killed the monster.

I don’t think that the ice cream man was actually a giant or monster… the animation depicts him as a huge being but in actuality he is just an adult man… the animation was trying to show how scary adults can be when abusing and coercing small children for the own pleasure. Children tend to see adults as idols or important figures in there life so the making the perpetrator bigger than what he really was is smart asf

Damn, the film didn’t skip out on disturbing details… when the ‘ice cream’ drains from the blender into the machine you can see bone fragments floating in it, and again when the giant is putting a spoonful of it in his mouth. The little girl getting spooked by seeing blood and what looks to be an eye and a tooth in the blender is pure nightmare fuel too.

Honestly, I been in these few situations as a kid and I’ll admit I was scared to death, The second and third time is when I started fighting my way out, The first was being separated from my brother in a weird farm in mexico, The second is when we were confronted by older guys as kids but me being heavy stood up to them even though I was scared to death I didn’t want my little sister getting hurt from these guys.
