Woke is not failing. Sure, there are some movies with a toned down or non-existent political message that become commercial successes, like this year's Top Gun Maverick and the new Super Mario movie. But that doesn't mean that the executives at Paramount or Universal have suddenly become conservative and want to promote traditional and healthy values. For every Top Gun Maverick, there will still be ten films of woke extremism produced. Or if you look at the controversy surrounding Bud Light and the reactions to their choosing to be represented by a trans person. Sure, sales were down, but people were only buying beer from other global brands as woke as Bud Light. Boycotting companies that stand for woke values would only work if there were alternatives available from non-woke companies, and by and large, no such alternatives exist.

Woke is not failing. Sure, there are some movies with a toned down or non-existent political message that become commercial successes, like this year's Top Gun Maverick and the new Super Mario movie. But that doesn't mean that the executives at Paramount or Universal have suddenly become conservative and want to promote traditional and healthy values. For every Top Gun Maverick, there will still be ten films of woke extremism produced. Or if you look at the controversy surrounding Bud Light and the reactions to their choosing to be represented by a trans person. Sure, sales were down, but people were only buying beer from other global brands as woke as Bud Light. I only thought this crap was only in academic circles. How wrong I am. I finally got my Bachelor's of Science. I wrote a thesis paper for my required capstone on internet censorship. I was against it. I took a beating from my professor that climaxed when he told me my sources were not acceptable. Asking why? I was told because the people/books I cited did not have a college degree hence therefore could not be considered referenced. (Mark Dice for example.) He drubbed me on the zoom call with 8 other students listening. I restated his point. He said now you get it. So, I was silent for 10 seconds. I sighed and said, I guess I will have to reject Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Walter Cronkrite also as experts on media standards and computer technology. None of them have a college degree either. So, under your logic sir. None of them can be considered authoritative sources either. The other students roared with laughter. I was ejected off the zoom call. I was given a letter of admonishment and warned any other infractions would expel me from the college and expunge my academic record. I kept my cool. My wife talked me down from sending a FU response. I sent a letter to the Professor. Stating I am reversing my position to a PRO censorship thesis. AMAZINGLY there is TONS of academic referenced material that was acceptable to Comrade Professor for a pro censorship dogma. I got an 89.5% on the thing and ended up passing the class with an "A." Therefore, I got my useless degree. Nine months later. I got an E-mail from Comrade Professor. He is writing something called Doctorial magistrate research database findings sentila? (No idea WTF it is.) He wanted to use my thesis as an example of someone who finally gets "THE FACTS" will do the right thing, when they find correct QUALITY information. I sent an E mail back rejecting his request. I even added. I only flipped my paper to pass your stupid class. Comrade Professor said he is considering forwarding my paper to the academic department to revoke my degree. This time I showed my teeth. I sent him a registered letter with a copy of my finances vowing I will spend whatever I need to sued him personally, the college, and show the offending Zoom call to the media. (I have no copy of the zoom call.) I got him to back down.

There was never such a time and there will never be such a time. The only time is now, the present. Even with oppression, injustice, slavery, pain and suffering, in this moment can still be found the highest joy, the highest achievement and the highest fulfillment. It's what other peoples have always known and what our ancestor knew ... As a people they were very happy and lived good lives. Maybe we can remember this lesson.
