I love the reminder to prioritize rest, connection, and relaxation. I definitely fail in those areas….so hard to slow down. I have been eating a Whole Foods plant based diet for fourteen years and feed our family of four this way. I just started sharing some videos to share how we keep things simple so that this lifestyle can be sustainable. Whole plant foods are so energizing and nourishing.

The longer I'm WFPB, the more affinity I feel for nature and animals and regret I didn't become WFPB earlier as we have no right to take a life away when it is absolutely not necessary to our diet and survival. Your pussycat is absolutely adorable and so friendly, how delightful!

My compassion for animal welfare has grown since taking on this lifestyle as well. It feels good making the "right" decisions for myself. Everyone has to determine what that is for themselves. And yes, I am falling in love with this adorable creature fast💜🐈‍⬛

I've heard that Greek people are now "the fat man" of Europe and I've seen street videos of Southern (Mediterranean) Italy where obesity among the locals was very obvious. I grew up in Italy and we used olive oil (not the huge quantities people use now) and I now believe this was the reason why in our family we were all overweight, we ate in moderation, but oil and frying were the hidden weight loss saboteur.

Thanks for sharing this Lulu. It is truly unfortunate that the Blue Zones are slowly disappearing as they take on more of our Western eating habits and other disease-promoting customs.
