This episode of Women of Impact is SOOO DAMN inspiring, you’ll walk away with the tools you need to FINALLY believe you are enough!!
From stripclub waitress to founder of the billion-dollar company It Cosmetics, my girl Jamie Kern Lima is an all-around badass person and an absolute CHAMPION for women who feel like they are not enough. Jamie literally inspires millions of women and today she is here to share her story of building unshakeable self-love.
Even after reaching incredible success, Jamie realized there was STILL something missing in her life. And it all came back to her lack of self-worth and her belief that she wasn’t ACTUALLY worthy of alllllll the amazing things in her life.
We’ve all been there homie, and that’s why this is SUCH an important and powerful topic!!! Jamie and I cover:
- How lack of self-worth keeps you stuck & in a self-sabotaging cycle
- Why you MUST break the people-pleasing habits lowering your self-worth
- The 4 Rs to reframe rejection & failure so you’re no longer afraid of them
- How to unlearn the lies that lead to self-doubt & finally believe you are enough
- Why embracing your worth actually makes you unstoppable
This convo is soooo inspiring my homies, and SUCH a powerful reminder to finally STOP doubting yourself out of your own damn destiny!! Let’s Frikin’ GO!!!!

🔥 JAMIE KERN LIMA’S HOTTEST QUOTES:
"When you feel fully worthy exactly as you are, it does not kill your ambition, it actually fuels it. Because now you don't worry anymore if you fail, because you know it's not tied to your self worth."
"The depth of love and connection you can have with another person can only be as deep as the depth of love and connection you have with yourself. And when you show up people pleasing for everyone else, thinking it's going to result in them loving you, before anything even happens, you start to love yourself less, right? Because you're betraying yourself. And then you're also creating a barrier of disconnection between you and them."
"When you change your relationship with rejection, you change your life."
“I know in my soul, when we learn to believe we are enough and worthy, exactly as we are is the moment."
“Do not let yourself doubt you out of your own destiny.“
“When you change your self worth, you change every aspect of your life.”
“The key is to never let anyone else's doubts about you turn into doubts about yourself in your own head.”

An inspiration for all of us! But one thing that I would like to add…. Is courage. Us people pleasers eventually learn that pleasing others leads down a road of discontent. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to take a risk. Take the step forward and maybe fail. But…. If we do. We will succeed. Eventually. Maybe we will not be a billionaire, but taking the risk of self fulfilment will always lead to success. I thank you for introducing us to these lovely, courageous women

I feel so grateful to have discovered this incredible woman. I didn't know who Jamie Kern Lima was until I heard her speak at Tony Robbin's most recent Unleash the Power Within virtual event, but I was so deeply moved and inspired by her story and just knew right then and there, this woman is the role model that I've been desperately searching for. When she said toward the end: "When you show up and say what you mean and be who you are you, you are first. There's never been another you in the whole universe," I felt that in my bones, and it made me tear up like you wouldn't believe. Thank you, thank you for having her on your show. 🙏

Love! Rejection is Redirection! So sad that we as females are objectified to the point of opting out of so many meaningful activities because of how we look. Thank you for your fabulous example of resiliency!

Great conversation at the beginning of this episode! KUDOS to her for her courage and authenticity. Re: the last conversation about courage…“Women of color” has no real meaning when it comes to conversations about pay differences. Black American women are not interchangeable with Asian women, hispanic white women, etc. Let’s do a service to equity for women by being specific about which women we are speaking about and naming them.

Amazing shares, thank you. What grounds me whilst embracing personal development is the Truth that sometimes less is more. Clarity of what I truly need and want is important, but not at the expense of my appreciation, gratitude, interest and genuine awe of the present moment.

Such a fun movie with great music, but... in Grease, Sandy changes everything about her style & demeanor in order to fit in Danny's circle.😏 (I suppose one could speculate that her previous persona was the contrived one, but it seemed natural enough on the beach & during the sleepovers. I wonder how many movies depict a woman or man overhauling themselves for another person. When is it the strong-enough impetus to finally make authentic changes and when is it self-abandonment in order to fit in?

She said women don’t know why but they feel less! I’ve learned that people often say “I don’t know!” when they feel shy of their answer! So, you have to decide: you really don’t know or your to shy? I say: don’t be shy of your feelings in answers! And when you decide you know!!✌🏻

I love women of impact but.... This whole idea, all women have to 'crush it' in work... it kind of is condescending to stay at home moms and housewives.. I just wanted to say that nowadays, stay at home moms and housewives are being looked down on, when in reality they should be praised. some women are nurturing mothers and they are happy and fulfilled taking care of the house, without 'working' in corporate or being business women, which is perfectly fine. I think this kind of message can actually hurt a lot of full time moms/ housewives(which doesn't resonate with the whole 'women of impact'). seems like it only serves 'boss babe' type of women....
