For the first time in WCT, we can now use the term "ONE SHOT a team" What a mad and ridiculous play this was. I immediately went to Kyle's first 6 record and I can tell you that Fluidity kinda played same as TryHardCollective back then. It is not that they are bad as athletes, it is just they lack tactics and not really fmailiar with the game, also unlucky for them they encountered one of the bestst to teach them a harsh lesson: GET GUD.

I don't know man, at least with Kyle's match there was a chance he'd have gotten caught and he eventually did get tagged. This match almost looked staged with how bad Fluidity was. It seriously didn't look like they were even trying. Or maybe they were just too baked out of their heads to know what was going on, but this was NOT a good match since Xavia was never even in danger of being tagged once. This might have been one of the worst matches I've seen in WCT because of how bad Fluidity was.
@traceurs619
@traceurs619 2 жыл бұрын
@@thelaziestluke I feel the only reason you guys looked the worst was merely due to 2 reasons… 1. They put you guys up against Xavier of all people on their team 1st😂 and 2. Most rookie teams got their spotlight by going against other rookie teams from the start, you guys went against an OG from the jump. And for that, you’ve earned my respect. Only 1 way to go from here and that’s up. Your team full-sent a lot of tag attempts and made it easy for him to evade and catch a breath. Also didn’t look like you guys were trying to manipulate Xavia’s movements to corner him, you only went where he lead YOU, which kept that distance. As the chaser, you need to be the hunter, you make the evader go where YOU want him to go. In the early WCT days, people would have that stalemate in the corner and waste time for an easy W, then chasers like Andy, Seth W, and Frank came in with the speed to rush that corner, cancelling the stalemate and not allowing them to rest. Then it’s a nice beautiful hunt from there;) muahaha. Can’t wait to see how you guys have improved next time

I feel the tryHardCollective were much more explosive players in that match-up. Not so technically sound as you said, it was just like they were just chasing a dog that loved to run/play...but at least they gave him a run for his money.

that's because it probably was relative to high-level WCT standards. props to Xavia but the fact that THIS is how Kyle Soderman's WR gets beaten is just disappointing. On multiple occasions he's INTERRUPTED opponents that wete trying to pick up the pace by going the other way, there's nothing they could do about it. There's something very unique about this guy's approach, great evaders like Kyle Soderman were able to keep their distance with their oppornents by constantly looking back to know where they were and move accordingly, but this is the FIRST time that I actually see an evader dictating the pace AND direction of the chase instead of just anticipating,that is elite level, it might look simple as it often does when great athletes do something ( everyone think they can be Tom Brady until they grab a football ) but the guy is phenomenal.

Really this just shows the inequality in the sport so early in its existence. If you've never been on the quad before, you do have a disadvantage. But how have they not watched all the videos WCT has to after in 1 weekend and see all the high eq areas, effective tactics, and player strategies? We are in a weird era of the sport where new people are coming in without the ability to have much if any experience on the equipment. Imagine sending a team into the NFL that has never stepped on a field before, held a ball, or padded up- but they played catch in the back yard for a few years so they figured theyd be fine.

His confidence in judging distance to lean away from those lunges is insane! Real mastery in conserving energy.

There is definitely an art to moving slowly. You force the chaser to make their move first so you are past the point of no return. Dude put on a clinic.

So basically he just stayed on the perimeter the whole time. It looks like he outsmarted the course setup just as much as his opponents. In other words it appears the best strategy is to keep running to the outer corners.

Xavia is just playing really well and tactically, he confuses his opponent and makes the round win. Maybe the opponent team is not that good but a single person can't make that much dominant victory in a row. Welldone Xavia 🔥❤️

No offense but is the purple team even trying? I feel they move so slow, you've got 20 seconds just F go !? The first 5 runs were just too ez

normally in a chase the 20 seconds look long, but with Xavia they went so fast. And he looked so calm en collected true out all the chases!!

great gameplay and gamesense by Xavia, he definitely kept his cool and paced himself perfectly through the whole thing. I was so surprised when he got away with TWO leaning back moves, that was really cool! 8 in a row is definitely impressive by all means, but I feel like it's slightly tempered by the fact that if this had been against many other teams (looking at US Apex), he would've had much more pressure on him; he probably would've either been tagged or run out of steam much sooner. feelsbad to Fluidity, but hopefully they will improve and come back better next time! since Xavia has reached the WR technical limit... can't wait to start seeing a list of players that have reached max evasion :o

I would love to see him compete in WCT USA, There's so much heat there. I feel hell shock us the way Mark did initially from APK Gray, speed just mightn't be everything. I'm glad his name is up there, hope there would be more names soon.

That is an amazing record, I feel like fluidity didn’t really stand a chance because they didn’t really try to faint where they were trying to go and they didn’t do a great job of flushing out, letting him idle for too long allowing him to conserve energy and solo. Not trying to knock the record because it’s absolutely amazing!!! Congrats🥳🥳
