Part 1 covers 1987 - 1994: • The Career of "Sycho" ...
In this second part of a 2 part series, we look at the wrestling career of Sycho Sid Vicious, this time covering his return to the WWE and his third stint in WCW as The Millenium Man.
Last time, we looked at the reasons why Sid may not have been the most attractive of new employees. Sid's history in wrestling, up until 1995, wasn't exactly a shining example of a well behaved worker. That being said, the WWF was struggling in 1995 after losing big names to WCW, and Vince McMahon decided to give Sid another chance.
Sid was brought into the WWE in 1995 as Sycho Sid, where he initially worked as Shawn Michaels' bodyguard and muscle. Very soon, Sid was pushed into the main event as he feuded with Diesel for the WWF Championship. While he didn't capture the gold, he would have a much more interesting year in 1996 which did eventually lead to him becoming the WWE champion. After his WCW run came to an end, Sid showed up once again in WCW, and the way he left the company is still talked about to this day.
In this mini documentary from Wrestling Bios, we look at Sid's career from 1995 to 2001. We look at:
- Sid getting another job in the WWF in 1995
- His work as Shawn Michael's bodyguard and his feud with Diesel
- Sid joining the million dollar corporation
- Sycho Sid vs Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 1996
- Sycho Sid vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13
- Sid's WWF departure in 1997 and his brief stint in ECW
- Sid Vicious coming back to WCW and winning the world heavyweight title
- The match at WCW Sin in 2001
- Sid returns to WWE
- Much More!

Sid should go into the hall of fame for not busting out laughing during the Shockmaster's debut and trying to save that clusterfuck. That's commitment.

Sid will get inducted to the HoF. As long as the ceremony isn't scheduled on the same night he has a softball game.

A guy that won world titles in both WWE and WCW as well as headlining the companies biggest shows is a no brainer for the HOF

No clickbait titles. Simple but effective story telling. Easily one of my favorite wrestling channels on here!

As a kid during his 90's WWE runs, I was terrified of this dude. 100% deserves to be in the HOF. Classic character, great for wrestling.

For someone who didn't love the business to start with, Sid has had a hell of a career.

Often forgotten and underrated big man of the 90's. Strong and intimidating, could do so much more with a single look than many wrestlers can do in a 5 minute promo.

I was watching the match with my son against Steiner when Sid's leg broke. We both yelled pretty loud when it happened because it was too fast for them to cut away immediately. I'm amazed he was able to walk again after that.

Whether his motive to wrestle is based solely on or not, Syd had himself a hall of fame type of career. Holding World Heavyweight Titles multiple times with both WCW and WWF/WWE. He has held multiple titles and have been in the wring with the best of them. He is definitely a Hall of Famer. If the Godfather a.k.a Papa Shango can get into the HOF, so can SYD.

If Syd doesn't get his just dues.. Shame on WWE. He tore his leg clean off for the business so I think he deserves a HOF.

I liked Sid. I've always thought his power bomb was the best in the business.

I remember watching that match with my dad when Sid broke his leg, it was gruesome watching his leg flap around. I'm still amazed his leg healed.

If you look closely at the crowd after Sid beat Shawn at MSG you will see frown men crying tears of joy and hugging each other.

Sid had the size and physique like most guys but his personality is what made me like him. I like that Sid's story is "big farm boy needs to make money for his pregnant wife" and it ends with him having a career that spans years and he traveled the world getting big pay days.
