my drill took my hand round too far a few times one year and since then ive had such bad lolipop wrist my only option was surgery, which i didnt go for due to work commitments not affording me the time off for recovery. my work around was weight lifting wrist supports, using a nail gun instead of using a metal hammer and use a nail gun every time i work (im a carpenter). the only thing that seemed to help was bouldering which i failed to stick to. im so glad i found this video... i just tried these with my resistand bands and its almost an immediate improvement... i'll stick to these and hopefully be much better off for it. thanks dude!

whoa thanks for this! I "injured" my wrist over 10 years ago breakdancing and the bone jutted out. Went to a sports doctor, did xrays etc and they could not figure out why. There was no pain just annoying lollipop. Would get occasional soreness if I put too much pressure on the one wrist and it doesn't have as much range of motion as the good wrist. Good to finally get an actual explanation! Will try out these exercises!

Lately I've been paying attention to my hands more, and joints/ligaments in my fingers and have discovered a lot. Any type of exercise or whatever change I make to my hands, I do it to only my left to compare the affects. I never really thought of the lollipop thing as the cause of a loose ligament but I've been strengthening my tendons and doing wrist rotations for a bit and it sticks out significantly less than my right hand.

Dude, after researching DRUJ Subluxation I found that f it's chronic, surgery may generally be required. If it's acute, a cast is generally used for around 6 weeks. I have this I think. I wish it was fixable through exercise but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be. If you have fixed yours and it is now straight, can you make a follow up video?

I’ve the same diagnosis from orthopaedic and did a closed reduction for my isolated DRUJ subluxation. 3rd week on my splint now.

Went to the radiologist and they diagnosed me with something called ulnolunate impaction syndrome. But the same bone sticks out for me. Will this work? They only treatment options they gave me were conservative use, steroidal shots or wrist reconstruction surgery

Yes , I used to do arm wrestling during my school days, however one day one of my classfellow in class 10 told me that I should quit arm wrestling as "You are constantly damaging your wrist" ... So I thought about it and quit arm wrestling sice then, .. I like arm wrestling very much and after that I was focusing on my wrist, I tried Manny exercises to strengthen my wrist, however they were not much of a help for me ,as I was still not good for arm wrestling... I do have a large lolipop head on my wrist... And I hope your insight and the exercises in matter will be helpful... Once I am good , I will update you later... In Sha Allah

@@user-iq5iu2tt2h sorry for late reply... It doesn't work that well however the very basic problem of weak wrist is solved by it... So I guess it's still beneficial... To try these exercises , I would totally recommend it, also try more harder exercise as well in the later stages...

Very Interesting, I have exactly the same thing, but mine caused some pain if I perform some kind of exercise such as normal Push Up ( usually the pain comes the day after, and will last for around 3 days or so ), after few year suffering these kind of perform, the doctor suggested MRI , and the result is the doctor say exactly the same thing you said, and i was told not to perform certain kind of exercise or perform it in different way , such Push Up but with my fist instead of my palm, and never perform lifting a something vertically such as a pole or heavy tripod and stop play badminton :( After following the doctor suggestion, I have no longer experience pain on my wrist, I really want to fix it hopefully the exercise you recommend can fix it permanently for me, but I am quite afraid because the first move you suggest require me to twist my palm in a way that I have stopped doing ( since the doctor told me to stop doing push up with my palm ) I will update to you the result of doing your exercise 🤔

Didn’t know this was a problem…but my gains have been hindered by lack of wrist strength for years, and I could tell from my experience with muscle imbalances in other parts of my body that an imbalance was a contributing factor. A search for wrist strengthening resulted in my finding this video and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I do have lollipop wrists and one set of his suggested exercises killed my forearms.

Does that also helps to make the wrist more, wide. Like, does it give more space for the wrist bones?
