And the Spanish Civil War was the REAL dress rehearsal for WW2.

Does that mean Ukraine war is beta test for WWIII ?

Every war is a new tech test, don't talk silly.

Exactly, Napoleonic wars changed warfare and advanced technology just as much as WW1 with the internal combustion engine, vehicles, chemicals, disease, communications, and airplanes.

@@Thagomizer-U235 Yeah you are as correct in yours too, oh boy, but also in earlier history, it can be archeologically proven, not only on our continent on nearly all if not all. *"War connects with technologic development, but even grabs in to our evolutionary processes on the planet. They are mainly driven by aggressive interactions between a species and between species. Scarcity and environmental drivers along with it, decides outcomes of our life on Earth."* And technology is a wide principe, exactly to you too. Even slight changes to arrows, like arrow heads and feathering types, crossbow, all the variations of changes to spears and handheld weapons, up to introduction of the horse cavalry, the changes to armor, the changes to medical knowledges, combat medical treatments. Ow boy.. there is so much connected into war, that I and you and everyone can add to it. War is a boost platform for new technologies, on nearly every bit that even slightly has to do with it. Carriages, like in older Egypt and China and Middle East. It goes on throughout time, and can be proven to be the game changers of their time. I always see a most bloody example in the War of the Roses, or in the Roman empire, the Chinese Empire, Egypt, All over Africa and South America, etc etc etc. Interconnected so much that we can even see changes to canoes and ships and such to be combat worthy crafts. Food conservation...hunting (slingshots that grew better and better.) *"Not even just Homo Sapiens do, but even Neanderthalers, Homo Erectus did, etc..."* Not only in us later humans, even with various types of other human evolutions, like Neanderthalers and Homo Erectus, they all had their developments through time, also for war and conflict type situations, beside for hunting. Development of shields and clothing with armor etc. From clubs, to spears to bows and arrows, and stone tools that where made for killing humans instead of animals. War IS the Gamechanger...itself! - War is and was a reason to get out there with a better attempt, in every bit of technology connected with it, which nis nearly all technologies... From early history on this very Planet - up till today, and will be. Extrapolating it to future wars, where we even now ready plans for, space development, weaponizing space, etc... Natural evolution, changes because of environmental changes, but also due to interaction between life forms on Earth. Scarcity is one of the drivers that drives them both. So it is a complex deevolutionary-evolutionary-natural born concept of life. Technologic development one of it's factors that drives it. Since it directly involves large scale loss of life. Wooden armor bone armor, early leather armors, to metallic ones, with all their upgrades each new war ahead etc. etc.. Thanks for the comment and have a great day!
