Yin Yoga For Upper Body | Release All Your Stress In 20 Minutes : Boho Beautiful Yoga
This Yin Yoga class for upper body is going to be fully targeted on releasing tension and stiffness in your neck, shoulders, arms, and upper back. This restorative yoga practice using yin yoga poses to release upper body soreness & stiffness for the physical body, and emotional and mental stress that you may be holding deep within. We will move gently and slowly through each yoga posture and hold selected asanas for two and half minutes to encourage a really deep myofascial release.
Remember, breathing is a very important factor in any Yin Yoga class so through out this entire practice make sure you're taking deep breaths in and long slow exhales out. Bring oxygen to your muscles, organs, and mind. Re-energize your nervous system, let go of stress and tension, and become fully present in each moment of each posture as you let go of the past with each exhale you make.

What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a style of yoga practice that targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.
Suitable for almost all levels, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Thank you! I used to dance ballet and had impeccable posture. Now fast forward 15 years and a desk job later, my posture is terrible and I feel so tight in the upper back and shoulders. This workout was so needed. The puppy pose killed! I feel so much better after this. Will add this routine to my weekly workout.

I normally don't comment on any yoga video I watch because I don't see myself as a "Yogi", since all the "knowledge" I have is based on the content I find on KZbin. I have no Yogateacher yet, I have been on the journey for 1,5 years now and this was an elevating practice! I felt the opening, I felt your inner being helping mine. This practice was so beautiful. I didn't even realize I was in a certain state of mind before this practice but god... when I finished this it was like just a cloud left my body and I felt just so amazing I felt like I had been given so much headspace and just a sense of relief. truly powerful what the breath and movement can do.

So my girlfriend wanted to do some yoga this morning and asked me to join. I went into the session thinking this might be boring or feel alright. MY GOD! What kind of sorcery or witchcraft do you practice?! After ONE SESSION. The pain in my neck and the tightness in my shoulder blades was gone! I had been dealing with neck and back pain for weeks and was honestly thinking about going to a chiropractor but NO MORE. ONLY BOHO BEAUTIFUL YIN YOGA FOR ME. I’m going to try your lower body ones next and continue using the upper body to further relieve future pain in my upper body! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS! Sounds cheesy but during the practice I was becoming so emotional cause I could feel the tension lifting out of my body! It’s crazy that’s it’s only been one session but I’m looking forward to continue practicing. Thanks for improving my body! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Wow. I've had a pounding headache for the past couple of hours, most likely from sitting hunched at my laptop while I work from home during this COVID-19 stay-at-home order. My back already gets tight from desk work, but I move even less when working from home, and I am constantly looking down at my laptop screen versus up at my work's desktop computer. Ugh. Anyway, my headache is now just a light throb, and I'm sure a little more stretching will do the trick. You're a life saver.

This literally just released all of the tension I’ve been experiencing in my lower back for a week now. As we got to our final yin posture, I literally cried out in the first thread the needle and then you confirmed it, it really does help with the lower back as well! After the pose at 18:50 I bursted out in a giggle. I felt so much release in an area where has been tension for as long as I can remember. Laughing always felt uncomfortable for me, I always had to force it, even if I found somehing funny laughing just felt ankward for me. When I exploded in a sincere giggle directly after this stretch so much tension released. I am 18 years old right now, and the last time I sincerely giggled like this I was like 7. It is a small thing, but the small things accumulated are the beauty and joy of life. Thank you for guiding me into experiencing this one small thing of which I forgot that I loved it.

first of all, i love you, thank you for this beautiful class. you getting better with each video. i loved the music and what you said. sometimes- for me- silence would be also okay while holding the pastures... so a few less words maybe and something for the neck i missed a bit. but the rest was really harmoniously. love

Hii thanks so much for all your videos, they are always very effective and pleasant to watch that's to the beautiful scenaries. They are sometimes quite challenging, that's why i think it's very important for viewers to remember not to want to copy what you do at any cost but to adapt to one's body and current capacities. I think your videos would benefit from removing the "not so positive language", that is words such as "tension" and "negativity" which can make people feel precisely that, tense and negative. Haha. All the best! :)
