I’m not sure you’ll see this comment on such an old video, but I’ve had the hardest year and decided to go on a run to release some anger.. when you said go get ‘em tiger I burst into tears. For some reason I needed that so much. Thank you 🤍

I swear on my chlldren, there are days when I DO NOT want to go out running, but the "Go get'm, tiger" at the end of this warm-up is what pushes me out the door.

I am so baffled at the way every yoga practise always fits perfectly with what's going on in my life. But todays is insanely accurate! My uncle just died and his funeral is tomorrow morning I am away from home on exchange and can't be with my family and the time difference means that for me his funeral is tonight. He was an avid runner and the yoga practises of yours he always did are the ones for runners. It means a lot to me that we landed on this specific practise on this specific day. I can be at home with them all in spirit. Thank you Adriene and Benji and all ❤💗

Adriene, you helped me start my yoga journey about 9 months ago when I got to the point in my running where I could barely walk. I always had too much machismo to ever turn to yoga, but the pain was unbearable and I found your yoga for runner's video. Since then I have dipped my toes into every different kind of yoga I could find. I just wanted to thank you for helping me start this journey. You are such a light to this world and make yoga so accessible for so many different people. And to anyone who is reading this that needs a push to continue on with their journey please do it because it is so rewarding if you give your self fully to the practice of both yoga and meditation. Made the mistake of not doing this before my run today - realised as I was going out the door and thought, it won't matter for this one time... boy was I wrong! I felt slow and tight the whole run. Not missing this out again!

Try doing an easy 2 mile warmup or so then doing some dynamic stretching before each run, it helps way more. This helps me a lot more before a double or something just to prevent injury.

-sees 7 minute video as beginner in Yoga and thinks it’ll be easy -actually feels more challenging but I know the payoff will be worth it for my run -she sticks the landing with “go get em tiger” after opening with a wholesome Benji pose I love this channel, it’s been healing me

Gotta say i never thought I would get into yoga at all. My wife has done yoga for years and I just did not think yoga was something for me, I love this pre-run and love the post-run session as well. I say some of the words as Adriene says them when I can I remember them, It makes me so much happier than I ever knew I could be. "beeeennnnnd the knees", "check it out", "with care, with grace", "go get em tiger". Thank you for an amazing experience to get me ready to run and help me finish the run.

Never in my 17 years of life have I been able to touch my toes. But after about a month of doing this video before my workouts which I've been doing more frequently (+ the post-run), I touched my toes for the first time ever! I can't believe it - these videos not only get rid of any post-workout muscle strain but also helped me become more flexible! I'm so happy and so so thankful :))

A half hour session for strengthening wrists and ankles, with a few shoulder and hamstring stretches in there, would be absolutely the best thing to happen to me right now! I've recently started bouldering and my body is having a hard time keeping up. Please and thank you! You're amazing... I adore these short videos. 😍

used to watch this video everyday before going on my daily jog, that was about 8 months ago and after i injured my knee completely lost motivation over the entire winter and havent run since. going to try and start back up again and these videos always help me feel motivated each time :)
