What's hilarious is that the woke Left's definition of a woman changes depending on the topic. If the topic is athletics, a trans woman is 100% a woman. If the topic is abortion then a woman goes back to being defined by their vagina and reproductive organs. According to the woke Left's definition of a woman, don't men also have a say in abortion since men can get pregnant too?

@@Kace_Darbouze-Omolade You sort of proved my point!!! In fact, I work in a field dominated by women, so I can't even remember ever being discriminated against for gender. I'm not saying it's all about clothing or makeup because I've never had to worry about being confused for male no matter how plainly dressed I was. There was disrespect for other reasons sometimes. The transexuals people's problems you mentioned come when they decide to become trans. Our problems/experiences are different and start at birth. Classifying trans women as "women" or "real women" will not harm you at all, but it has the capacity to help them from being murdered. So, it is your choice . . . murder or let them live? I say that if allowing trans women to be classified as women helps save one life, then let it be. Why are you seeing this as such a threat to your life? You are not in danger like trans women are. You clearly are looking at this from some bias, and that is what is most alarming. If I were the parent of a trans child, I would not allow you to babysit my child.

@@harigoodman7718 You made a really good point. People act like bleeding once a month or being able to get pregnant are the only real experiences there are for women to have.

@Princess The original poster said that transgender women cannot identify with the “experience” of women. I was making the point that fully transitioned trans women have much of the same experience as cisgender women as they are treated very similarly by society. This means I disagree with the idea that trans women don’t live as women or have a similar experience.
@harigoodman77182 жыл бұрын
@Princess I’m not talking about transition either. I’m saying how transgender women present after transition is very similar to cisgender women. This results in them having similar and therefore shared experiences which many would consider a part of womanhood. I understand that the experiences of menstruation especially are quite large parts of being women. However, many women do not get periods (some never start a period). But, they are still women aren’t they? So surely living as a woman in society (dealing with how others treat you, gender roles and stereotypes) is a more significant part of being a woman as it is something that all women experience and throughout all stages of their life? The fact that they can’t have kids doesn’t mean anything. Quite a lot of women are infertile due to conditions such as PCOS. They’re still women. Even women who can conceive, they may have different goals and objectives in life and may not want to have kids. A trans woman can still adopt, have a surrogate, have a child biologically if they are a gay couple (using sperm banks before transitioning). There are plenty of ways a trans women can still be a mother.

It's as if women must reclaim our humanity -- we've been "othered" and made to feel as if we exist in theory only... There is a mismatch between brain and body, hard-wired into the brain, it is just a biological fact. There's a very small segment of society that doesn't identify as their gender at birth. These are people born with female genitals and male genitals who just don't identify with their gender. It's not any kind of assault on woman's rights. It's hard to get housing and a job as a transgender person, it's really just about giving people the dignity of being themselves and not being discriminated against. I think you would be hard pressed to find a transgender individual that doesn't support women's rights. From equal pay to anti-discriminatory policy and beyond. There's a lot of really good people in the transgender community. The vast majority of transgender people just want to work and live normally like everyone else and have healthy relationships.

No one is "pushing" children to transition. Parents don't want their child to transition, but they don't want them to be suicidal or alcoholic either. We can guide and influence a person. Doctors trained in gender dysphoria are qualified to decide when transitioning will help a child. The parents must also give consent. If a misdiagnosed child starts to transition then stops, they generally have very little change to overcome. If a child cannot transition until adulthood they are forced to endure the wrong hormones for years. It's the same as telling a misdiagnosed child then can't stop taking the wrong hormones until they're adults. It's torture beyond imagining. Let's not forget many children are GREATFUL for their time as the opposite sex. THERE IS NO PERFECT SOLUTION. Yes! Exactly true! So choose the path with the most success. That's what doctors continue to do. The regret rate for children transitioning on hormones (age 16+) is around 2%. For some 2% is too much; yet they don't seem to realize that the reverse means 98% have regret to save the 2%.

Transgender women tend to have brain structures that resemble cisgender women, rather than cisgender men. Two sexually dimorphic (differing between men and women) areas of the brain are often compared between men and women. The bed nucleus of the stria terminalus (BSTc) and sexually dimorphic nucleus of transgender women are more similar to those of cisgender woman than to those of cisgender men, suggesting that the general brain structure of these women is in keeping with their gender identity. Several studies have shown that identical twins are more often both transgender than fraternal twins, indicating that there is indeed a genetic influence for this identity. So, what genes might be responsible?

I'm kind of split down the middle when it comes to transgenderism. On one hand, I agree with Macy Gray when she says trans women and female women are not the same thing. That's a fact, one is male the other is female. However, I also can understand people who state that gender and sex are not the same thing. If you actually research, their argument makes sense. Gender IS a socially constructed thing. For example, females are "supposed" to be Women, who wear pink and womanly things, display softer, "feminine" traits, while males are "supposed" to be men, who wear blue and manly things, display harder, "masculine" traits. These things aren't how some biological males and females are, so it's not fair to force males to be "men" and females to be "women". What if there's a natural born male who caters to being what society considers "womanhood" rather than "manhood", and therefore identifies as a woman? Not as a FEMALE, but as a WOMAN.

@@ninibugg6203 what's wrong with just calling transwomen transwomen? Why try to silence actual biological women just to make room for transwomen? A woman is a female and a male is a man. I actually received college credit in the '80s to learn all about "transexuals" at SF State, used to think I was so ahead of the curve in terms of what I knew about them, was in a punk band with a transwoman (no bottom surgery but at least hormones) and would always address her to reflect how she presented herself. Just like the abortion issue, this shit has gone too far (like abortion AFTER birth) and classical liberal values have been completely exploited for other agendas, like trafficking body parts and pushing for TRANSHUMANISM. F MEN in women's prisons, shelters, lockerrooms, bathrooms, bookclubs, sports or anywhere else that means WOMEN can't be safe, successful or just be themselves. I am still waiting to read about transmen breaking down the doors to compete against real men. Why is that? Because we have systematically lowered the expectations of what it means to be a man and because it is OBVIOUS that it would not be a fair competition and they would be creamed. Maybe for every transwoman who wants to compete, "she" needs to secure a transman to do the same. Or better yet, create trans competitions. And there’s a lot women couldn’t tolerate that men have to endure. Men constitute 91.5% of the World’s hard labor, high mortality rate blue collar jobs of the world in areas of transport, construction, sanitation and freight and defense. Women complain about cuts they receive when shaving their legs, while many men must shave their faces daily luckily avoiding the Jugular Vein while enduring barbers rash and other skin afflictions. Why is it that when a ship sinks, it’s women and children that evacuate first? I can certainly understand the children, but why women? Your vagina can’t impregnate itself without support from a penis now can it? Why are women always favored in divorces? Why is it that a young man will give his seat up for an elderly woman or man, yet a young woman will not give up her seat for an elderly man?? Why are women firefighters and female military service members paid the same as their male counterparts yet, their physical test and lift standards are less? This means in a time of war, who has to supplant the difference to complete the mission? A hint; it’s not the female. When are women going to be required to sign up for the nation’s Selective Service Act? It’s mandatory for men, why not you women? Let’s not play the “tradition gender” game as that would put you as a woman, back into the kitchen barefoot and pregnant right? Again, there is no excuse for men to be the only gender to be forced to register for the SSA. Pain? How many pain medications and over the counter pain relievers are there for menstrual cramps? Many!!! Yet, women can’t seem to control their periods or prep themselves for a timed projected monthly bodily function - just a lot more easier to take your mood swings and nasty temperament out on the men around you for a pity party. You do know that men’s kidney stones are so severe that many pass out from the pain - try finding an over the counter pain medication for that. You know what I got for my stones when hospitalized? Yes, Demerol!!! Now who else gets Demerol for their pain during childbirth? When you women equalize out the impartiality of the aforementioned pain and gender comparisons to a 50/50 scale, then come talk to me about what men can’t endure. Now run along… you’re done here

Just accept that there is no comparison between what women and men have to go through. None. And yes, I disagree with this weirdness where nothing makes sense. And I totally stand with her on this too. She was not disrespectful about it, just saying how she feels.

@@Chelsea-lp1gc your not going crazy love the world has gone bonkers sweetheart, when I saw the they/them sticker I was at one of those dollar stores. And like you was confused 😕 . I'm 51 love and have been saying woman man or transgender or Lgbtq but back in my day it was just the LGB community. And women were proud to be women. It breaks my heart young girls like yourself are forced to live in this ever changing WEIRD world. You deserve the peace and freedom I grew up with. MACY as you said did nothing wrong. If anything the person who put her on the spot in this climate we are living in now really pit her in the hot seat by asking her what she thinks a woman is. Of course she has to make a living like most of us and the "hollyweird" "I'm sorry for nothing" thing is out of control. I've been saying woman for half a century. I'm not trying to learn all this identify as language. My memory isn't what it used to be either. Lmao but you feel me. I will show respect 💯 if a person is deserving of respect. Not just put of fear I'll say woman or whatever new wave jargon. I've had my um going to change the world revolution in the 80s and early 90s. I am friends with a transgender Woman. And she fought her whole life to be called WOMAN. You seem like a really nice young woman and I'm with ya 100%

Back in the 90s there was a trend to take a Toyota MR2, strip the body off and replace it with a Ferrari body kit. It may look like a Ferrari at quick glance, but when you look closely you knew something didn't look right. The owners could try and fool people that they had a Ferrari, but underneath it will always be a Toyota, the registration documents will call it a Toyota, and when it goes to the scrapyard and the aftermarket parts have been taken off it'll only ever be recognised as a Toyota.

I don’t understand how people can expect to be physically accepted as something they aren’t and never ever will be able to be.. it’s nobody’s fault, and we’re not saying it to hurt your feelings, and yes I feel very sorry for you but someone physically born a male can’t and will never be able to fully relate to someone physically born female. It’s due to biology and hormones and the fact that those hormones actually affect a females life very noticeable every single month throughout life.. it is a HUGE part of being a female, and a HUGE part that separates males from females. Female/male, X/Y, call it what you want, but there are two different body types which are unchangeable in terms of function and physical attributes, beyond aesthetics, and no human will ever be able to relate to the other sex in all of those differences, simply because you weren’t born into that body! How anybody can suggest otherwise is beyond me, because even they know these facts are true.. 🤷🏼♀️

Womanhood is not something you can just be inducted into, it's a lifelong process. Just like how you can't claim to be another race just because you ''feel'' like you were that race your whole life. Unlike a lot of ''men'' out there, Macy Gray actually has major balls. Lol jk, no offense to the alphabet people. Just breaking balls here. Kudos to her!

I completely agree with everything that she said . I’m all for everyone being who they want to be , but glorifying being a woman is just getting out of hand .. if you’re not born a biological woman , I’m sorry but you’re not a real woman .. surgery can transform anyone , but what she said saying “being a little girl is a whole epic book & you can’t have that because you want to be a woman” . Well said Macy , finally someone had the gall to speak some truth . If you don’t have the female reproductive system .. sorry but you’re not a woman.

Right ? Is it much more complicated than "Bro, you got a dick, you're a man. If you want to believe you're a woman in your own fantasy world, I don't give a damn f**k. but come on bro, you're a dude :p" ?

@@ninibugg6203 Women are adult human females who produce eggs, men are adult human males who produce sperm. A trans-woman who was a man but transitions his gender to female is still a man because biologically sex can't change. A particular part of his brain may be similar to women that makes him think that he's a woman, but he is not a woman and will never be a woman. Same goes for trans-men who are women and undergo gender transitioning...even with all the voice deepening and beard growth and breast removal, they will never be men because biologically in all their cells and with their egg production and pregnancy capabilities they are women. It's not really that hard of an issue, but extremist ignorant Trans activists don't like the facts of biology e.g. that sex is immutable, sex can't change. You can change gender, but you can't change sex.

So let me ask you this: If you can't tell the difference between two people/object, is there any difference between them? If there are no experiments that can distinguish the two, then as far as we know, they are identical. Take Jessica Alves. She's a transitioned woman, but you'd never know if she wasn't open about it. Good luck distinguishing her in a group of non-trans cis women. So you might ask: But what about the genitals? Well, she had her penis turned into a vagina. They are extremely skilled at this, and so you'd never know here either. If she wanted, she could have any man she wanted and they would never know. Does she have breasts? Also yes. Femininity is not a birthright. It is a state of mind and a way of presenting yourself that anyone can adopt.

We need middle grown here, transwoman is transwoman, woman is woman, adult human female. Transwoman is a person with body modification and hormones to be like woman. Why embarrassed of who you are, just be proud to be transwoman if you are , and say it out loud, transwoman is transwoman. There is a difference and dont hijack word woman from actual woman.
