I heard that other comedians look down on him, saying his jokes have no “premise.” I don’t know anything about that. All I know is that this man makes me LAUGH more and harder than any comedian ever!! And he does it while not getting into politics and not speaking ill of anyone. He’s so relatable!! That password sequence is exactly what I did and he made it funny!! I always feel better about the world after watching him, not down as I do after listening to others make fun of people for a laugh.

I am non-technical married to a computer engineer. With a background in security. Forget what the businesses said, he wanted me to memorize all my passwords, never write them down, and change them all once a month. We only just avoided divorce.
@archiegiarchi85664 жыл бұрын
Yep! That's good password hygiene, but I can admit it's a real pain. The trick is to either use a password manager which will remember your password for you (and also protect against keyloggers) or to make more memorable passwords. The current advice on passwords is to pick three random words with no relation to one another and use that as your password. A password like Blue!Chili!Dino is actually really memorable as it's so weird. It is also hard to crack as it has a high level of randomness or entropy - even automated password cracking tools would likely take many, many years to crack it!
@benlawton54204 жыл бұрын
Writing them down is fine if you keep them safe.
@McBlazington4 жыл бұрын
That's terrible advice. Get a password wallet or safe. It can generate stronger passwords than you can remember, and unique to each website. It's the advice given by experts like Troy Hunt or Bruce Schneier.
@weckar4 жыл бұрын
Changing passwords that often has actually proven to be a bad thing, as statistically it will cause people to pick easier passwords (to remember). But that usually also means they are easier to crack.

The Brits could just make it a little bit easier on themselves by installing a normal termostate tap which you can set to your preferred temperature, in their tub, instead of having two taps with hot and cold. Or you could just put a termometer in the tub and check that it has the right temperature. I have always had pretty weird passwords, where I mix languages into one word. Like you take a random word from German... Kuddelmuddel and then you mix it with a random word in French...Pamplemousse. Kuddelmuddelpamplemousse and then change all the l to 1 Kudde1mudde1pamp1emousse. And then I just have to remember not to reveal it somewhere. Like on KZbin or something.

I have a small farm, which means I have animals that have names as well as ear tag numbers. Combine the names and numbers of two goats that were close friends but they both died several years ago, and you have a password that is going to be a challenge to guess. Then I have a password hints file, which will tell me useful things like "Teddy's mother." Well, I guess one of my children might be able to remember who Teddy was and what her mother's name and ear tag number was, but nobody else will. 😬
