My no. 1 villain is; consistency aka habit. I've suspected myself to have undiagnosed adhd for about 3 years now and during boring days I analyze my emotions and reactions more closely. Even more so in this age of mindlessly chasing entertainment on our phones, making me feel depressed and killing my motivations so easily daily. I don't have a habit in my day to day, I procrastinate everything. Throwing tissues into the bin immediately? only if I'm close to the bin. Folding dried laundry? If my emotions let me do that mindlessly or else that's a job for another day. I don't immediately wash my dishes after dinner either, sometimes the idea of getting my hands wet is tedious. Brushing my teeth is tedious but I try. I wanted to change my bed sheets last night but I couldn't get myself to do it, I'll try again tonight. I'm doing a personal art project but it's been 4 days and I haven't started much. If this looks like mild depression, it kinda is what feeling depressed is. I do clean out of frustration on how incompetent I am at keeping my living space clean for myself. I see every movement towards something as a step-by-step list and it just seems tedious. Pulling out a frying pan to fry egg is already a step, not to mention throwing in the butter, pulling out a plate, grabbing the bread. It's not a fulfilling cycle and I try. I have many more ways to see my life and motivations in different angles and one day, I'll clean more than I do

Aaah, the kitchen getting messy is def one that needs a whole own video. Putting the condiments in squeeze packages is a really nice one, but I wonder if it shortens the expiration date somehow. I kinda assume the container it comes in would be best, but then again the onionpowder i get from the store comes in a glass shaker which apparently is one of the best containers you could get to have it clumpy and bad.

I don't use my standing desk for standing, but since my chair doesn't go high enough, it is good to be able to adjust my desk to the level I need it to be when sitting. A better chair would be ideal, but I'm just working with what my work provided me with.

as someone who has no idea what theyre doing when it comes to cleaning, this is god sent! id love a tour of individual organization and cleaning methods by "rooms" or "zones" i get swept up in all the cleaning products and get confused easily and would love to just follow whatever you do lol

You probably got a bunch of comments like this but I suggest with the bathing, have them watch the sink fill up and then have a bowl to shower them with the warm water, never running water I'd imagine that'd be freaky for a cat to be under running water that changes temperature constantly.

Speaking of digital clutter I couldn’t help but notice all the icons in the status bar. Almost all of those can be shown in the control center. If you’re easily distracted by lots of things on the screen like I am I highly recommend changing these to only show in control center.

I bought the Bissell Crosswave several years ago to help me have a cleaner home while suffering a back injury. WOW! Worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!! I have animals in the house, which is gross. The Crosswave makes my life ao much easier, making it almost effortless to clean. When i first unboxed it, i tested it in a bathroom that had just been vacuumed and mopped. The chocolaty water in the dirty water reservoir made me cringe! The tile was white white, and even the grooves were clean and white!!!
