I thought that the Sokovia Accords were a pretty piss poor substitute for the Superhuman Registration Act in Civil War. Like I know we're working with a version of the Marvel universe where there aren't as many superhumans out there as in the comics, so the Superhuman Registration Act wouldn't make as much sense when there are so few of them, but I felt there were better avenues to spark a conflict between them than the Avengers deciding whether or they let the government tell them what to do. The Russo bros could’ve just make some new superheroes up and have each of these dozen upon dozens of heroes with godlike powers join either cap or iron man. That way it be an actual war.

I can already tell by the comments my opinion is not going to be popular, but since the video itself is trying to be reasonable, let me try my reasonable argument... I'm worried that people think Miles Morales is both too different and at the same time not different enough. He's not different enough because he's just Spider-Man again with electricity, but he's also too different because him co-existing with Peter challenges Peter's whole bible of being an independent hero. I don't think it's healthy to not challenge the status quo of a superhero's story when you're an icon as old as Spider-Man. I don't wanna spend decades hearing the same story over and over that goes through the same motions! I don't wanna read how Gwen dies for the 47th time from a slightly different perspective! Give me curveballs! Maybe Gwen survives the fall this time, and it radically changes her life in some way; doesn't mean Gwen & Peter have to stay together, but it's a what-if that can have every right to exist in it's own continuity because now the author and the reader are asking "where do we go from here?" Hell, Ultimate Marvel is already challenging multiple status quos, and people are loving it! I want *every* comic run to be as different from each other as Ultimate Marvel! Imagine every 10 or 20 years, you read about a teen getting bit, goes to showbiz, loses an uncle, makes enemies with a rich looney, loses girlfriend to rich looney, rich looney kills himself, rich looney's son tries to take revenge, teen gets new gf and they marry maybe, fights black goopy man, and nothing ever changes besides small details and some events being excludable or interchangeable with each other. I'd get bored real quick. You can only repeat so many key events before you gotta reset again and everything gets stale. One More Day may have sucked and became the catalyst for much worse things, but at least for the briefest moment, it tried to do something original! Fans want Peter Parker to be happy and get married and have kids, but they also wanna see him continue being Spider-Man forever and ever, and that apparently means he's gotta stay miserable so that he can keep having conflict and a reason to be Spider-Man! You know what happens if Peter Parker never grows up and never retires from Spider-Man?? He dies a broken old man like in Last Stand! You can't have your cake and eat it! I see Miles Morales as another challenge to the status quo. Peter Parker may have been founded on the idea of a grieving teenager learning how to be responsible and do everything on his own, even if it kills him, a well-written Miles, to me, is a supporting character in Peter's character arc. To me, Miles is not only living proof that Peter isn't alone, but also should be a dose of reality to the virtue of responsibility: yes, great power does come great responsibility, but that doesn't mean you need to carry the weight of the world *all by yourself.* We've seen how much Batman burns himself out when he goes in it alone, and I doubt he was concieved with sidekicks in mind; Robin is lucky he got his start half a century ago, so he's had half a century of different depictions and character development. I'd love to say there's lots of examples of how Peter's life has improved when his closest ones are let in on the secret, but the only one I can think of is MJ, who becomes a seamstress on the occasion who fixes his costume. If you ask me, whenever Miles isn't succeeding an already-dead Peter, he works best as a supporting character by lifting Peter up, and by lifting Peter up, Miles is therefore also lifting himself up, and he's that much closer to becoming a true successor. Maybe they have different territory or different schedules; Insomniac Spider-Man 2's ending already gave us some hint of what that could look like potentially. It's great to teach readers that everyone should be honest and step up for what they know they can and should do because it's the right thing, but it's also more realistic to tell readers that no man is an island, or ever should be an island - not even Spider-Man. I'm positive that my argument is heavily disorganized and repeats itself a few times and goes on for way too long. It was just the most honest way I feel I could express my argument.

The main the main reason I don’t like captain carter is because I love her normal version so much. Agent carter is such an intriguing character to me because she was the OG glass ceiling breaker, they went out of their way to have a whole ‘you’re lucky to be in the room’ thing in what if and it felt silly The entire spin off series is people telling her she can’t do shit because she’s a woman and her getting shit done anyway

This guy perfectly describes just how mediocre the Marvel films are. Ironman3 is just a ripoff of "The Incredibles«. The 1st Avengers movie is just an ironman3 movie

Personally disagree with the women characters in the comics being better. Outside of the fantastic four and x men, marvel lacks interesting female characters. 80 percent of female characters in the comics can be boiled down to being snarky or being a tough strong women.

I’ll defend Natalie Portman on this. She was in her later 30s/ early 40s and is a white woman. Her muscle earning potential is the lowest, even if she was trying, she isn’t going to get superhero worthy muscles without steroids, which is an absurd ask that permanently change her life and voice. Marvel CGI slop everything else, if they want to give her a giant payday for the minimum effort, she’s just smart to take that offer.

Please stop saying ASOIAF and GOT are "great quality." I understand your criticism of Thoe and agree, but when you use GOT as an analogy to show why it is bad, you lose your case entirely. GOT is shit, but it was shit everyone liked to watch. Try being original in your criticism, not just copying what other youtube edge lords say. Got is actually the begining of the death of quality.

Here’s what should’ve happened In Avengers: The Avengers roster is Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, AntMan and The Wasp. Hank Pym will be the second scientist instead of Banner and will take Bruce’s place. And Janet will be the heart of the team instead of Natasha and will take black widow. The Hulk would be the villain for the first half of the movie by Loki’s mind control but then Betty Ross is also in the film and she will be the one to break the mind control out of Hulk. The Hulk would then want to join the Avengers in the Battle of New York in order to redeem himself. The Avengers would defeat the Chitauri off screen and Hulk would lose control and fight the Avengers. Betty would calm him down and Hulk would power down back to Banner.

QUOTE: Overrated for stupid reasons, hands down. MAJOR SPOILER: Those of you that have not watched the original trailer at all, it was advertised showing only Tom's Spidey about to take on three villains. CLEAR REASON: Because it was advertised with one Spidey, now I hate this incoherent movie even more.

Thor films should’ve been a epic Shakespearean space fantasy adventure movies. All of his films should’ve been fantasy right off the gate. Thor himself must be a powerful and serious shakespearean warrior god that is treated with respect. Give Lady sif and the warriors of 3 more screen time. Sif and Jane Foster are Thor’s love interests and Jane herself is a nurse. Loki should’ve stayed a villain. Malekith and Kurse should’ve stayed comic accurate. Hela needs to be Loki’s daughter and have powers of necromancy. She also must be a neutral villain. The Enchantress (and her Executioner) needs be in all of the Thor films. Have her have an appearance in Avengers 1 and be recruited by Zemo in the post credits in Captain America: Winter Soldier. Valkyrie needs to be European descent with blonde hair and acts like a respectable warrior. Build up Surtur The Fire Demon to be the big final villain in the whole Thor franchise. And he needs to be taken seriously. Make Gorr a Dangerous Threat. Show him destroying worlds and killing powerful gods. And finally, Get Beta Ray Bill instead of Lady Thor.

We need more Marvel animated shows. For example, A Fantastic Four series: fun with off the wall bad guys embroiled in weird science and wild explorations of personalities and concepts that always come back around to being dealt with seriously. Deal with celebrity, space and aliens, time travel and other eras, alternate earths and dimensions, Dr. Doom (which is a whole thing unto itself) and family - getting married, having kids. Probably four seasons would let you cover everything, and match up with the team beautifully. X-Men: Serious lore and history follows the development of societies as childhood friends become enemies, people die and come back different. Season big bads always include deeply personal rivalry. Season 1 is First Class, Season 2 is the Giant Size X-Men. Season 3 it’s the 80s X-Men era. Season 4 is the 90s X-Men era. Season 5 is 2000’s X-Men era. Season 6 ends with the mutants living in krakoa. You can do a lot of stuff like this, make sure you have 3-4 key characters a season, and that they're not the same every season, and you can do this ten years, easy. Spider-Man: My Adventures with Superman meets Avatar: The Last Airbender - Peter's journey is emotionally full and extensive and deal with some real stuff, real injuries and recovery and darker topics that he has to navigate while figuring out how to be a decent person in all this. Avengers: Invincible meets Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It's war out here, people get hurt, and people change. But one thing remains the same: The mission, if we can't defend the world, we'll be damn sure we avenge it. Often crosses over with the other three cartoons when things get really big. Start each episode with the original Avengers. Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and The Wasp and Possibly Captain America. Then they all join together in the 7th episode. Later episodes, introduce other Avengers and do comic accurate storylines. Screw the MCU, let’s focus on a Marvel Animated Universe. (MAU).

I really like the Marvel villains, They are going for lighter, funner villains who are more relatable and sometimes even funny. Obviously no one is ever going to laugh at Doomsday or Scarecrow even DC villains that are funny like Joker are still dark and frightening. So I dont think it's fair to say DC villains are better then Marvel they are way to different to compare and they both have fans.

If the MCU wanted to start with Hank Pym instead Scott Lang, I think Patrick Wilson would’ve been a great choice.

one big problem that contributes to the villian problem is that marvel is just uncreative with their fights the good fights they have are when there is fighting, shang chi, winter soldier but most fights are just people blast its all blasting and this uncreativity cripples the magic the most in the mcu strange 2 is a big showcase of this, they just blast all the time in that film and the villian is someone who can change reality at will! and she did it once! the only creative fight in that movie is the music fight funnily im commenting on a year old film but they seem to be teasing the xmen coming so cant wait for that
