Eh, way too much tomato for me, I'd add a slice of village cheese on the bread, then top it with fresh cold cucumber slices, then add a dash of the tomato, and a few calamata olive slivers. 💥

Rubbing the bread with garlic and not actually putting any garlic on it is pointless. Besides that nice video/recipe.

Actually you can taste garlic very strongly, because the juice from the garlic clove soaks into the toast bread. Thanks!

I have to ask is there some specific reason for using buckwheat and not the most common flour wheat? I haven't cooked with it myself, but I've understood it's common flour to go if you can't digest gluten, so that made me wonder if someone in your family or friends have celiac. I just wonder if it tastes different, and maybe the other ingredients compliment the buckwheat. Here in Finland psyllium is commonly used in such cases in baking, at least based on my experiences. For me wheat is fine unless I eat it too much, but if it's well fermented I can eat it mostly as much as I want to. What I've understood is that yeast breaks the gluten so those with sensitivity can still eat it, but those with serious issues with gluten you really have to replace the wheat with some other binder. Buckwheat is fibrous , so I assume it can replace the wheat for that reason. Mostly asking because if I go and buy a pound of buckwheat flour it's a lot of baking for one person to eat =D

Actually, the first reason I used buckwheat instead of wheat flour is that my husband has to eat gluten free bread. The second reason is that buckwheat is very nutritious and healthier than wheat flour. These buckwheat wheat bread tastes pretty good. It's more chewy and dense than wheat flour bread. Although it tastes good enough, I have to tell you that I like the flavor of wheat flour better. 😄 Sometimes I use psyllium and gluten free wheat flour to make gluten free bread. It tastes good too. Thank you so much!

That medium sized onion is bigger than any onion I've ever seen in store. It's actually cool to see that Finnish onions just doesn't grow as big because we live so far in North. I wonder if they taste the same. Even the medium sized potatoes are bigger hat we could ever grow in here! I'm excited, that potato is an unit! I'm so thrilled! Anyway I love this video. I watch too many cooking videos and they're all so polished and fancy. This feels like home, even if I live very far away and our cultural background is so different. These recipes are amazing! I envy the people who can eat your food!
