Heyaaa, are the internals the same? the rx580 one and the rtx 1070 or 1080? I know an rtx 3060ti dual wil fit in the 1070 version but no idea about the rx580 one. If they are the same internal it should work. Thanks in advance buddy!

You don't have to look away from the road to see your speed limit any more than with a front console. .. Upper left hand corner... a nano second glance... easy peezy.... And all the entertainment and climate functions can be controlled by voice command, including windshield wipers, and fan speed. I love the minimalistic design. I'm glad Tesla didn't waste any money on a front console. .... And my wife loves it because she said that the front display lighting, even when on dim, has always bothered her a night. ..... And the moon roof has ultra-violet filtering, meaning you can't get a sunburn. ...... And dang, man. I'm getting 275 miles at highway speed, which is not EPA. ..310 miles driving around town. I even drove 233 miles one day with temp getting as low as 12F. I got an implied range of 245 miles with snow tires, and seat heating and heated steering wheel on, and cabin temp at a toasty 77F. ..... I know how much kWh my Model Y is consuming and it works out to $39 for 1000 miles of range. My wife's similar sized gas SUV costs about $190 to go 1000 miles.

I’ve had my Model Y for two weeks. I have very few issues with my MY. Mine is a 2023 and I was surprised how good the ride quality is after hearing so many complain. I agree with the comments regarding the panoramic glass roof. I hate it! I have a shade on order to take care of that. I drive 90 miles one way, to and from work 7-8 times a month and so range hasn’t been an issue. I agree with Franklin on many of the things he said but not everything. The interior is fine for me, although, I do miss an adjustable headrest. Out of all that I have said, I am very happy with my purchase. I’m even thinking of maybe getting a Model X. I should also say that I used to drive premium Mazda CX5. My wife drives that now 😂. I do miss my HUD though. Tesla needs to get one immediately. Everyone’s mileage varies(no pun intended) but the truth is I enjoy my Model Y. Some won’t.

I guess this is a vehicle where you either enjoy it like I do, or you hate it. If curious about the Tesla's and not sure if it is for you, setup an appointment and go do a test drive and inspect the Tesla. I am not a Tesla fanboy, but in all my driving now, I find nothing wrong with the vehicle. Lets face it, you don't like a Tesla or electric vehicles. End of story. Bye.

@@FranklinReid_I disagree that hydrogen will be the future. In terms of physics, hydrogen just isn’t efficient or practical for vehicles. An quick example is while hydrogen is energy dense in terms of MASS, it isn’t in terms of VOLUME. The space required to hold hydrogen, even when it’s compressed to dangerously high pressures, it takes up ALOT of space compared to batteries or fuel even to go half the distance. The Toyota Mirai for example is a model Y sized car with a boot and rear seat capacity equivalent to a Toyota Yaris. So fitting more fuel to go further, isn’t an option. Another example is that hydrogen doesn’t occur in its pure gas form naturally on earth. You need to do alot of energy intensive processing to create it and compress it. As much as 3 to 4 times more electricity is used to create 1 miles worth of hydrogen, than to charge 1 miles worth of battery. It’s just physics. Hydrogen is a pipe dream sadly.

Hey Fran,. I love your honest video. I think your review is probably the most honest review I've ever seen about a model y or any Tesla for that matter. I had a model y for a year and also hated it. Well, I didn't hate it, but there were some things I hated about it, in fact I'd say detested. I traded in my Tesla for an ioniq 5, then purchased a Polestar 2 which I still own and I adore more than anything, then traded in the ioniq for a gv60 performance, which was a nice car but then traded it in for a bolt as I was making money on my trades and was able to pay for the bolt cash. The bolt is actually a very cool car and I enjoy it in many ways more than the model y if you can believe it. The model y of course beats it in performance and such but I like that the bolt has buttons and switches etc. This brings me to what I hatee... A) No windshield wiper stalk ...this I detested. B) no HVAC buttons and no physical levers to adjust airflow on HVAC. Again, detested this. C) no cross traffic sensors. I honestly can't believe everyone gives Tesla a pass on this. It is imo a standard safety feature which almost every car has except for Tesla. D) no 360 camera. Again, just mind blowing E) no rear wiper F) auto wipers suck big ones. This is because they are too cheap to put a rain sensor in the car and rely on cameras. To the fanbois that say they don't have problems with this, even Elon admitted they are not good. G) plastic seats H) plastic seats that are not ventilated I) no "avoid highways" in maps. Here is where I have to disagree with you. You said maps is good. I think they suck. What is you want to take a scenic route somewhere? Can't be done if Tesla figures the highway is the more efficient route Of the 5 EVs I've owned, the Tesla is the only one I wouldn't buy and the only one that had things I truely hated about the car. There are other things I didn't like such as not being able to talk verbally to service, paint chipping easily, a few build quality issues.

There is no difference between looking at a conventional cluster and the tablet. Either way your eyes leave the road. I don't understand this point at all. @GetToThePointAlready
@GetToThePointAlready 11 ай бұрын
False.... When the cluster is directly in front of you, you look at it less. Mainly because it's always within your field of view. The Tesla's setup forces you to turn your head as you drive, meaning you are more likely to get distracted. Doesn't help when everything is buried in menus.

I know this is a Model Y review, but your point about the vehicle being too hot in the summer applies to the Model 3 as well. I test drove a Model 3 today in 110 degree weather. The AC is inadequate. The airflow wasn’t cold and the cabin stayed relatively warm. My car’s AC blows ice cold so Tesla needs to fix this for us folks that live in the desert.

Then go to advanced mode & set the Mic Frequency & set it for 2 channel 16 Bit 48000 Hz DVD quality to get a more robust sound & then monitor the Mic & listen to yourself to be satisfied. Just yesterday in my native Denmark, Tesla installed 40 superchargers. The network is constantly evolving. That said I charge more than 95% at home so I have little need for superchargers and I dont have much concern about charging. I love the sporty handling of my model 3 and can imagine the big Y feels less nimble. Mine has the Ryzen so very fast. I’d love to see a fresh video on your new Y; has your concerns about quality and processor speed etc been addressed in the newer car, given the constant evolution of Tesla. Do you have new concerns?
@FranklinReid_

The super charger network my far is the best part about buying a Tesla. I am actually shocked they opened it up to everyone else , but lad to see they are making global stride to grow the network not just here in the USA. Ryzen is much faster and makes the extra features of the infotainment system useable but considering from 2021 - 2023 I lost USS, and got softer much worse suspension along with a few other challenges id say Tesla is moving backwards related to improvements.
