Great video. A couple of tips from someone who already installed one of these to the same bike. Replace the header gaskets - the Honda ones are single use as they come like a hollow donut that immediately crushes down. You might be very lucky and get away with it but odds are you will have a small leak. Typically sounds like a ticking noise on idle. Unlike some other gaskets tightening harder won’t solve the issue. Second - if you don’t have a spring puller just use a bit of nylon garden twine looped round the hook and wrap the other ends round a screwdriver to give you a handle. If fact, even if you do have a spring puller this is better. Especially for disassembly of the exhaust. See first point. Ask me how I know…

For me personally I don't get these cons, I have an MT09 with exhaust and tune, just like yours. For me (6 foot) I can comfortably ride it for 300-400 km without an issue, and also, the fuel consumption is amazing, I got lower fuel consumption than my buddies with Honda CB500X or Africa Twin. The lowest i got was 3l/100 km (78 MPG). I mean, yeah. the fuel tank is not that big, but on long trips, I get at least 300 km before I have to refuel (and with 16$ the tank is full again) And it's not like I was in sixth gear at 1000 rpm, it was a normal chill ride. passing cars and everything. And also, after 3000 km trip, with tracking the gas prices and quantity, the money spent on gas was way lower than the others. But yeah, when you ride aggressive, the fuel consumption is more than double, but I don't mind because the torque and power wheelies are awesome. I think you can double check the tune if it's alright, for me it seems a little odd, that our bikes are that different. I still get big pops from the exhaust (I have AIS at the button and can turn them on and off).

What torque did you do on header bolts mate?

It's definitely illegal to go over the line in a car in Tasmania - I'm not sure how this interacts with lane filtering though, I assume it still applies. Road Rules 2019 rule 56.1.a states "if there is a stop line at or near the traffic lights - as near as practicable to, but before reaching, the stop line;" and the penalty is "Fail to stop as required on red traffic light" (3 points, $202). That said, I often see cars do this (which deeply upsets me - I mean - how hard is it to stop at a line). Less annoying for bikers to do it while filtering though - they have a legit reason to be a little ahead.
