couldn’t they put hardware cloth around the bottom? Staple-gun it to the wood, and have it extend down long enough to fold out along the ground by a foot or two, and then cover that part with dirt or gravel?

given that you’re so often working without a work surface or table, I wonder if you’d find it easier if your frames had the crisscross set up that Mr. Ed uses; it greatest a surface you can lay the comb on while you put on the second set of rubber bands.

How do you clean your extraction machine. I couldn't clean the wax

@@132065scorpio I don’t get much wax at all inside the extractor, not sure what you’re doing to coat your extractor with wax, perhaps you’re heating up your frames & placing the frames in the extractor with some dripping wax, maybe uncap then let the wax dry a minute before placing them inside. After you’ve gotten all the honey out of your extractor you could wipe it down with a hot damp rag to remove the wax. I use hot water to clean my extractor. Hope a few of these tips help.

HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOU AND HER NOT GETTING STUNG???!!! I was weed eating and I barely touch the cable spool the made their hive in , and I was ATTACKED. I got stung at least 20 times. My palm hurt Bad. I never had any sort of reaction before. The last time I got stung 30 times and it was just irritation. Not this time. I felt hot and a 1 inch area of my palm still hurts. 2 days. So how is it she can just sit there all smiles and I had to run for the hills?

Thank you for your lovely videos. When I saw all the really old comb I wondered why the bees had kept it. Not being knowledgeable I imagined that they would have gradually removed any old worn out comb after a while and replaced it. They know best!
