The 5090 may be a monster, but the linux support is god fucking awlful. I can afford the 5090, not afford to continue playing on a windows operating sytem when there are much better environments to play from. (And its why im enjoying team red on bazzite OS) So for rhe nvidiabenthusiasts dont complain about your telemetry, bsod's, microsft ads and forced updates bc its what you asked for.

Historical Volume, Price Movements, Support and Resistance, etc.. Pay attention to volume when a stock approaches key support or resistance levels. It is also crucial to understand market movements, i got some great help from my advisor on this, which really boosted my experience

Switching from gddr6x to gddr7 already a big improvement, not to mention 5nm to 4nm. Both 3 and 4 series are 5nm So performance of 5090 have to be about 80-100% uplift compared to last gen

Games look so good now,playing on low now even with scaling looks better than high used to. Just don't need that ability to run high or ultra anymore,the difference is too small. Far more concerned about frame rate. Until I got a great deal on a used Rtx 3060 laptop with a 13th Gen i5 and 32gbs of ram,I was still rocking a GTX 1060 laptop and It did everything I needed, to be enjoyable honestly. I only upgraded as I got a sick deal.

just got a monster 4070ti last week but can't use it to its full power. Waiting on my RMA PSU, should I keep my card until next year and sell when the 5070 comes out or should I keep the card?

So basically, I’m gonna have to have to lower many settings initially to keep the 5090 cool, and then I’m gonna have to spend at least 1200$AUD on a water loop to appropriately cool it, that’s not to mention I will need a new case, I’m not spend more than 3200$AUD + 200$ shipping. The only way I’m getting this gpu is if Nvidia had a major breakthrough and that my dynamics in air cooling, and also given it’s not 2499$USD, 1.67x = 4100$AUD

With zero competition along with the insane specs of the 5090 we can expect a $2500 price tag. The days of Nvidia giving gamers anything decent ended when people climbed all over themselves for a $1600 card.

I have GTX 1060... don't need to upgrade. Maybe next year I will look at Arc A770, GTX 1080ti, RTX 2060.. Not really hyped to but a new card anymore.

Thanks for the video and i've learned about core parking and can now disable core parking for all my cores! I'm using 13700K and realized that by unparking all my cores, a few of my games run faster with hyperthreading on and off. May want to look at core parking affecting hyperthreading as well. Based on this numbers it's not improvement at all . If we look at 3080 to 4080 or 3090 to 4090 it was about %70 improvements. Unless the new architecture makes that big jump!

I just want good value parts. I'm not going to spend £1000-2000 on a GPU unless I'm making ten-fold off of that investment. £300 is about what I'm used to paying for a GPU. If RDNA 4 provides RX 7900 XT level performance for <£/$400 I'll be interested. Any more expensive and I'll just stick to buying used cards off of eBay.

Is this video worthless to me? i normally game while using discord and OBS and MSI afterburner in the background, sometimes i also stream while gaming. Im pretty sure my performance would TANK if i turned off HT or all the e cores in my 13700k. This video is great for people that ONLY play games and nothing else.

I was hoping to get the full ~25 000 CUDA cores die with the 5090 but I think I will still be happy with it :D But I guess my 4k 240hz OLED will need at least a 7090 or so to be truly maxed in even the most intensive CURRENT games. As games get more intensive with PT, this could change again. oh and btw - IMO its only fair that the 5090 would be twice as fast as a 5080 bc it will very likely cost twice as much or more. So it would actually be fair price/performance scaling. But it wont be twice as fast, you do get twice the memory tho. So it will be quite fair again.

but Im not sure it will cost 2500$. that would be 3000€ here in EU with 20% VAT. the 4090 MSRP was 1849€ (thats always WITH tax). If the 5090 costs 1151€ more that would be a 60% price increase for probably around a 40-60% performance increase overall, possibly a bit more in RT/PT. That would mean there would be no or even negative generational price to performance uplift. thats the OPPOSITE of what they did with the 4090. So I really doubt they will do it here. I do expect to pay around 2000-2500€ max tho. 3000€ would mean really bad reviews. Dont forget that they only increased MSRP from the 4090 by like 100$ compared to the 3090, even tho the 4090 is like 60%+ faster.
