I wanted to say thanks for the thorough information. Not just for speakers but now I know what the backside and trunk should look like and things that should be there, like that seat bolt. I got mine and didn't know anything about integras and a lot of stuff is in shitty condition or missing in my Integra. So now I know what a good quality Integra should look like

You know, in case your rear speaker goes out Instead of doing all this, you can literally just remove the panel that hides the speaker and bam done

GreenKata correct. Just snap the grill off and change them out. No need to remove all that

The problem with just removing the grill you are limited to only speakers with small magnet.

if you want 6 1/2 speakers you need to modify the bracket and that would be a nuisance with just the access panel- I had the panel off to repair the power antenna anyway and the speaker install was easy

This didn't work on my 97 GSR. Speaker doesn't fit through the grill panel.

when i realized my integra's speakers sounded like ass i just added a 12 inch sub, didnt wanna go through the hassle of replacing all the speakers and i set it anywhere from "balanced EQ" to "Blow out my friends' ears EQ" LOL i subbed btw, good explanations and stuff my man!

What sub model is the integra? Because I have a base LS and I bought black GSR rear interior and panels. But the panels I have are cut by the front door and the GSR ones I bought aren’t. Any help on why one set is cut and the other isn’t would be helpful.
