I’m absolutely loving this challenge. The pace is perfect-it really helps me stay present and focus on my breath. The 20 minutes fly by so quickly. Your voice is incredibly calming, Charlie, and you guide us with just the right amount of instruction-it’s such a perfect balance. Thank you for creating this beautiful program! As someone that's been doing daily yoga for 2 years now, i just want to say that if you're new and getting discouraged to please do your best to be gentle on yourself. When I first started my practice I was almost fully sedentary and I got angry at myself often for how little I could do. Honestly I think this series would've been way too intense for me at that time, I'm a little surprised that it's being targeted towards 100% beginners. All that to say, if you need to take a day off, if you need to repeat the gentle nighttime practices instead, if you need to modify every position or just skip some entirely; listen to your body and do what feels right. Yoga is harder than it looks, especially so if you're not used to exercising. Learning to speak kindly to myself and gaining the ability to laugh instead of curse when I fall has also been an invaluable part of yoga for me. Its easier said than done, but again, be as gentle as you can. And good luck to everyone out there! If you're just showing up and trying, you're doing amazing and I'm proud of you 💜💜💜

This is my 3rd month of practice, and today was the best day yet! I felt challenged but was totally up for the challenge. It feels like today was the day the practice really "clicked" for me. Every movement felt natural, yet worked me hard enough to sweat a little bit. Thank you, Charlie! Namaste 🙏

And today, instead of doing these beautiful movements once, I performed the same movements twice and it was fun. I won, you friends should try this experience. Namaste.

Dear Charlie, I am practicing Yoga for at least 10 years, I did a 200h TTC in Rishikesh in 2023 but thanks to the slowness and the concentration in this beginner series I am having many „Aha!!“-Moments and my body feels so good. Thank you a lot!

Don't hesitate to push yourself to your limit or a little beyond it, while doing something new or when you wish to do more than you do. Just when you feel that it's quite beyond something you can handle, take a step back. And this way you'll progress, you'll challenge yourself and at the same time, won't do any harm to yourself! ❤ Congratulations on completing 10 Days of the journey. 🎉

Wow this was so soothing, even if a challenge. I definitely carry more weight than preferred, so I’m trying to understand my body better-this series has helped so much! Other beginner yoga series (yt and in person) assume as certain level of yoga knowledge and body awareness that I haven’t cultivated but Charlie, your sessions are perfect. I’m still learning the boundary between good discomfort and pain, but I feel unpressured, and reassured with your guidance. Thank you so much❤ We’re only a third of the way through but I’m already looking forward day 25, 30, and beyond!

Two things: my wrists were messed up after this. As I mentioned on the first day, I had the unfortunate luck of some pretty bad breaks around my wrists and this really got to them. I am worried that it will prevent me from progressing. Second, even though it did my wrists in I was really happy with how the rest of my body performed. I've always been intimidated by the more advanced yoga poses thinking I'd hurt myself but I could feel the strength I am building and control in these poses. Note: I've been following with the gentle full-body yoga sessions for quite some time but never pushed myself beyond that. Thank you Charlie for the amazing instruction. If you have any advice on how I can avoid damaging my wrists I'd appreciate it!
