I own it, it's a nice car but they ruined 1 thing: you have to enable Iconic Sounds (fake engine sounds inside) to open rear exhaust valve (nice engine sounds outside).... This is really stupid.

@@jaworq yeah you do need to, what I did with mine was use BimmerCode to turn off active sound design and I enabled iconic sounds. Iconic sounds is meant to be just the valve system but they attratched the fake car noises to it because obviously when car go vroom car must go excessive fake vroom.

Were the lights on the sides of the center console functional? It looked like there were lights, but it didn't seem like they were on. I'm hoping these weren't removed due to some ridiculous cost-cutting effort by BMW.

there is one thing i dont understand about interior lighting, why BMW have buttons only in red color ? I really don't understand .... but nice car by the way

Majority of manufacturers only use one color for interior buttons. Most manufacturers use white, but Nissan and BMW uses a reddish orange color.

I love BMW in every aspect, but the low brightness of the ambient lighting inside the car and the fact that it doesn't cover important details, such as the center console, is really disappointing. When compared to the Mercedes C43 AMG, the biggest shortcoming is the interior decor. At the very least, they could have done a better job with the lighting

800 Iso low 800 iso high 4k 60fps. If you go above 800 iso it's too noisy and grainy

Lol it isn't that bad at all it's very user friendly so if you haven't tried it don't assume it's not good . I doubt they're going back to older versions that's why it's called a face lift

The ambient lighting comes with the aluminum trim option. I believe if you get any other interior trim option, it doesn't have the ambient lighting.
