I know! It makes me go 😮and giggle everytime. I will think oh my god!! Ouch, then she will tell how to position that part of me and it’s better. Right on cue. Then, the “you dont need to go all the way down yet, we are still warming up” today for me was perfect. I thought to myself as I bobbed side to side in straddle… ouchie! I’m not even….. then she said that. It happens sooooo often

I saw 45 minutes in the title and I thought to myself “I do NOT think I can do 45 after yesterday’s practice!”, but it really felt like 15 minutes. I loved the reading portion and the meditation. Looking forward to continuing this challenge!

A tip for headstand - after trying it once following along with Charlie, pause the video, put on your favourite song and try twice more. I find the first try I am still warming up but by the third time I can do it 🥳. Thanks for another amazing class Charlie 😍

I agree, for the headstand I would advise to pause, coz u might get intimidated by the time running out or even sounds. Sometimes I struggling to get into the headstand but once I do, she already proceeds with the next sequence so I hv to rush 😂…

I'm so glad I made a point to show up, even though I didn't want to, but I knew I'd feel great afterwards! I haven't achieved a single peak pose but that's okay! I usually stay at option 1 and attempt option 2. I'm just happy to be here!

Whew! 😮💨 This challenge is definitely challenging me! Only 6 days in and I’m sore all over, but I can feel myself getting stronger already! I had to pause this video halfway and rest in child’s pose for a bit. I thought about quitting-BUT I DIDN’T! I pressed play again and finished the practice. Even if I couldn’t get up into wheel (yet😇). But I got wild thing for the first time!🎉 I’m feeling accomplished, and I’m going to keep going. Thank you, Charlie.

Perfect recap of all 5 days! Very well sequenced and spaced. I was eager to practice tripod headstand again, as it’s not quite up to par - unlike my supported headstand, which is easy and calming for me. It was really rewarding to see that I didn’t wobble at all, and stayed up straight for 10 breaths! Thanks for giving me the opportunity Charlie☺Today we had a gurgling pool, the distant bird calls and even a rooster serenading us. Bliss! 🙏🏻

Oh my gosh! I always thought headstand was out of the realm of possibilities, but with the tripod option today my head was on the ground and my feet were off the ground!! Amazing Charlie for the week of progressions to get us here. Feeling encouraged! 🎉

I wasn't feeling up to doing today's challenge and, kept pushing it back until late evening. But, when I finally got on the mat and did it, the magic of the session paired with Charlie's calming and kind voice did its trick as usual, and I feel extremely at peace and energised. Ive done a lot of yoga classes on youtube, and this is the best ive ever had. Love the way you explain and the rhythm of the class. I knew today was the long class, challenging (but that’s the point) and I definitely surprised myself!! I decided to stay in tripod for the head stand and actually lifted my hips above my shoulders without being wobbly, it was amazing! I love your meditation videos so I’m glad you included that in the warm down. I wouldn’t mind that being included all the time because I usually pull up a meditation video after yoga anyway! Loving this challenge, can’t thank you enough Charlie!!

My inner monologue was being a bit whinny about these longer classes when the reading started and I couldn't help but smile. Maybe it is true, all this hard work will pay off. My crow felt steadier today and tripod headstand even felt almost easy. I love the reading and the meditation at the end, thank you Charlie. See you all tomorrow for a much needed restorative class. Day 6 in!!

The meditation at the end was so peaceful. It was hard to open my eyes and finish the practice. Very challenging recap, I lost the strength to do both sides of one legged wheel, but it was good to try. And I could hold regular wheel a bit longer than usual :) Thank you, Charlie

Such a wonderful & fun flow! I held crow for the longest yet, did one legged wheel, & balanced with both feet off in headstand until I startled myself & fell out of it. The sequencing is genius, I wouldn’t have imagined I was capable of doing any of those even just a few months ago

Everything felt a little easier today!!! Definite improvement in my crow and tripod headstand, still struggling with wheel but I did it against a chair today for support and got half way up. Loved the poem at the end 😊 🙏

What a sweaty day 6 ! I could already notice some improvements since the beginning of this challenge : my crow pose was steadier, and I managed to lift one leg in the tripod headstand and in the wheel pose ! As you said, one could surprise itself with what the body and mind are capable of. 🙏Thank you for your amazing guidance and all your wonderful videos ! I really appreciate this challenge ❤

I love the way charlie guided through this sequence..there was something for each of us no matter at which stage they are..crow pose...headstand are still out of my reach for now..but the key is to hang in there... practice everyday..thank you charlie

Thank you! ❤ I hadn't even tried Wheel for about five years, because the last time I tried, I couldn't get there and felt a little bit dizzy after my unsuccessfull try. I thought that okay, maybe my "upside down" days are over and never tried that again. But now, as I have been following you on youtube and doing yoga everyday for about two months I felt like giving it a go. I can do a little bit of headstanding without feeling dizzy, so maybe I could at least try the wheel. To my surprise I managed to do that and it was kind of easy! Not as easy as in my twenties (I'm in my late forties now), but easy enough to hold the pose for a few breaths. So I guess you're never too old for the upside down stuff and maybe you should never stop trying and challenging yourself. Thank you for helping me to get back to the more challenging poses! ❤

This was nice. It is obscenely late…. Mother tasks, scrolling, reading quality material tonight and learning- the reading after the practice was relevant to me. It was broad yet specific. I’ve realized it is all worth it- and it’s going to be as long as I’ve got the right intentions .I’ve seen the glimpses and solid proof of success in so many ways. My Physical body is strong- even with a muscle strain… My mind, my heart, the way I care for my kids… I’ve got more than enough oatience and me for kids I coach, and neighbors which is new. Consistency showing up for other people day in day out. I’m becoming this me that I was always supposed to be. Because whoever l end up- I know for sure she’s going to be someone I like.

If you’re like me, somewhere between beginner-intermediate, stick with it!! I've loved yoga for yrs, but only started practicing regularly in the past 4 months. 10 min into my first Charlie class, I was not sure I was gonna make it lol. But I didn't quit & was shocked at how much I could do! Yeah, I'm nowhere close to crow or headstand, but that's okay! These classes, though challenging, have def leveled up my at-home yoga practice, something I didn't know I needed. So, if you're wondering if this is for you or if a longer practice feels intimidating, try not to get discouraged! Namaste 🙏🏿🤍

After 6 years of practicing yoga, I FINALLY GOT CROW POSE TODAY!! It was only for about 4 seconds, BUT I DID IT!!! My long legs didn’t defeat me today!😂

I couldn't resist long practices before, especially online. But with you by my side, I felt much progress today. I not only survived it😅, but I did it all, except for one vertical posture. I'm seeing big improvements in my ability to hold chair pose and do all of the poses that come along with it that can be a bit exhausting. I'm also already working towards crane and I managed to hold a little tuck in tripod headstand as well as lift my legs in wheel, my body is amazing, I can't wait to see what else it'll be able to do during this challenge.
