This song was literally a song full of punchlines and metaphors, Wayne's ability to produce that is something even Eminem along with the rest of Hip Hop, including the OG 80's generation praises him for. Wordplay is something Wayne is a master at & is known as one of the best to ever do it.

@israelcastelan40124 жыл бұрын
@@zacharyspiker8090 His music does not embody the traditional hip-hop lyrics and flow. By traditional i mean lyrics with wit and their importance. In those artists that you stated, the one thing they had in common was bash trash rappers for their lyrics. Lil wayne is just not a hip hop artist imo. Id say he’s more of a pop person like Drake. J-cole, joey bad ass, capital steez, etc., all have those hip hop traits because their lyrics combined with their instrumentals all make them great and embody hip hop. I’ve never heard of those greats acclaim lil wayne. Most listeners despise him much like they despise lil pump, lil yachty, 69, lil baby, kodak black etc. That doesn’t mean they don’t make appealing music but it’s certainly not hip hop. You could argue it’s a sub-genere but id say it’s an awful sub-genre.
