Thank you for this. I’ve been trying. One of the biggest lies I tell myself is that I will feel alone forever cause I feel alone when I’m quitting. Even if I’ve told people I still feel alone. My mind is my worst enemy. I convince myself my life is much worse than it really is and the only thing that’ll make it better is nicotine cause it’s been a part of me for 6 years. I have so many goals and can’t let this get in the way.

One of the lies my addictive voice tells me is that after I am no longer addicted, and my mood returns to normal that it will just be a phase and I will go back to being a depressed, unmotivated, anxious mess
@AddictionMindset3 жыл бұрын
thats a common one!! its addictions way of trying to make you feel unworthy of sobriety. F THAT voice. You know how you change that, get those goals down on a piece of paper and get to work..... start talking action on things that make you feel motivated, happy, and achieved. Think about this even though addiction tells you those things it in no way shape or form offers you solutions for those problems.....it only feeds on them. Thats a great lie to identify, now think about all the reasons thats simply not true about you!

Thanks for the video DocFrankhere today is day two again. I’m always craving but ya know I’ve quit before for a whole month before. I was on a spiritual journey feeling the best ever. When I went back to nicotine, haven’t felt the same since that journey. Hopefully I can start that positive mindset again man. It just feels so great off of the nicotine vaping or cigarettes and people don’t understand that. Waste of money and all your doing is saying to the smoke shops” here take my money, and destroy my lungs and future.😀

@@AddictionMindset I know man. doc I’ve seen it with my own eyes. It’s all a game. They put out vaping devices. You know already. Meanwhile these devices we don’t know the long term effects and if there even real and it’s like a circle. Once these teens turn 21 they will switch to cigarettes. Soon enough we will see a spike in deaths from lung problems I just think sadly. Like the tiktok with the worm in the pod. People think there’s just chemicals in vapes, no shot. Also these vape shops over sell these vapes. They get the product for say $15 a vape and sell there single vape product for $20-30 which is a scam. Got sick of vaping because my parents hate it also. Enough is enough man.

You mentioned having goals when quitting nicotine in this video. My goal is to take all the time, energy and focus that I'm currently spending on my nicotine addiction and put it into World of Warcraft full time like I used to before I became addicted to nicotine. I know my guild would be much happier about that. Nicotine doesn't actually give you anything in return for everything it takes from you. At least with World of Warcraft you get to work in a team and make friends. Nicotine doesn't give you that.
