I haven't viewed the online video, so I cannot speak to the quality of that piece of the set. However, everything else is perfect for what I was looking for. The bands are durable, and the resistance strength varies enough between bands that they're each useful for different exercises and provide a great challenge as you gradually increase the resistance level for certain exercises. The only band I don't use very often is the lowest resistance band, but even that is nice for exercises that target weaker/seldom used muscle groups.

Both are good and very useful. Its you personal choice. You can do almost all workouts with both loop and bands. You can go for either of them. I'm going to make a series for loop bands also. May be after my weight loss series coming next.

Good question, since you cannot physically check the quality online but you can at least check the type of joint. It should be single joint with rubber padding or go through the reviews and see if anyone faced issue with the connectors or joints. You can also check it after receiving the product, if you don't find it okay then return it :).
