I found Allie's interview to be grace-filled. I remember what it felt like as a new (adult) believer to be judged by those born in the church. I really appreciated Allie saying we forget that sanctification is a process. Kat clearly said there are things she did before that sicken her now. God is merciful to deal with things in us not all at once. She also said when she goes to church, "I want the Bible, not feel good stories." Our sister is on her way. So true. Questions are good because then we can dig deeper into the word and be strengthened in our faith. I don't understand this thing about discouraging questions. I taught my two kids apologetics. They took apologetic courses during their home schooling years and at church. My daughter participated in speech and debate competitions with apologetics as the topic. Once they reached about 25 years old - they walked away from their once professed faith. When we’re carnal and coming away from the world we still have our beloved sins and we will have to be sanctified and she’s not even ready to separate from old friends. I think it’d be difficult to cut off all those people. Same with addicts and an alcoholic mentality. Birds of a feather flock together. ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism. Christ gave us the one, right faith, which was formed geographically from the Church of Rome in West and the Church of Constantinople in East. They were one and the same, united in the same right faith. The Catholics separated themselves from Christ with their multiple heresies and in 1054 they were officially removed from the Body of Christ, the Church, leaving us with the Church of Constantinople (today called the Orthodox Church). Protestants split from the papists after 1054, when the papists were no longer part of the One Church, which makes them all also heretics. May God illumine you all!

One of my absolute favorite episodes! I have a daughter who grew up always feeling like she didn’t fit in with other Christian girls because she was “edgy.” Well, my edgy daughter loves the Lord, is married with a daughter, and many of those girls she grew up with walked away from their faith. So never judge a person by their appearance because it’s their heart that God cares about. It’s a real shame that a lot of the negativity comes from within our own churches.

Idk if she’ll read these comments but Kat mentioned that she sees herself as a “quiet witness” but I hope that she knows, her declaration of her faith, the video of her baptism itself and this interview are the greatest testament and form of witnessing for God/Jesus she could ever possibly display. For her to have such a platform/following and to make her faith public, she has shared her light with the world in a way that is going to impact SO many people that thought they just had no chance of taking this route because of things like their physical appearance or their past. So even if she never talks about her faith again publicly after this, she has made a major impact on an entire demographic of people that may not have been reached otherwise. Yeah, that's something I've learned in my Christian walk. These days I remind myself daily to love one another and be a light. I love to see people grow closer in their relationship with Christ. 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Whoever you are , I want to let you know that, it's okay to dress or be who you are , if your body is fully covered and not adorned with satanic items because Christians come in all shapes, sizes, race, style and personality. For those judging us by our quirkiness understand that, they don't read the word of GOD. It is the heart that GOD sees not our clothes, ofc we are told to be dressed "modestly" ,but that modesty doesn't mean plain white clothes and make a sad face. Modesty is our character, our inward being, in self control, meekness, kindness, loving, patience, understand, wisdom, faith etc, .

Pls help me understand how continuing to dress goth and put videos on your channel about vampires and exorcisms is Christian like? I'm not saying Kat isn't saved but it is unlikely. Also if anyone can pls list all the things that make Kat a Christian?

I completely agree. I've seen some comments on social media from people who claim to be Christians that would make the devil blush. I wish people would be more cognisant of their tone/approach. I know as a baby Christian looking for answers a lot of that stuff really hurt. I pray her husband listens to the Lord's call and finds the Peace that only comes through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

One thing people need to remember when they use other people as the reason they don't follow Christ. Is that you stand alone in front of God on judgement day. The people from social media will not be with you 😂 You and you alone. So we can blame others all we want. When judgement day comes it will be you and you alone in front of God

Agreed. I was listening to a Matt Chandler sermon and he was talking about what true worship really is and how strange it is that the modern day Christian sees worship as simply singing. Worship is to be with our entire being at all times. As Paul said, to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called. I'm so happy for her. What a beautiful story of salvation ❤

The Lord woke a LOT of us up in 2020. We switched churches. I felt compelled to read the Bible cover to cover for myself for the first time at the age of 50. I used to watch you on Miami Ink with my husband and I remember being so surprised at the light I felt coming from you. I had no idea you were struggling with addiction at the time. I saw the daughter of God in you. I said to my then boyfriend, now husband, “I’ll watch this with you only because for some reason I like this Kat Von D lady.” Congrats on your baptism 🥰. Love that Kat mentioned the historical aspect of the Bible. Many people will easily believe things in history books found in a library without question, but the Bible is just as much history as anything else that has happened in the past. I'm interested in digging deeper into that myself. Great interview; loved hearing Kat's story. I'm learning a lot about how people's journeys and walks can look different than we might expect, but they are still very much our brothers and sisters in Christ who love Him. God bless!

Agreed. I'm in my 60s, still love Metal - not the dark stuff. I am a born again Christian and take my faith seriously. God places people where he wants them like Head and Fieldy from Korn. I used to LOVE metal.. it doesn't sit fully well with me anymore though. Now, the fleshly, sin nature still wants to listen to it, but as I said, I simply can't fully enjoy it anymore, and that's a good thing as it is slowly getting me further away from the darkness. Because, Korn is dark. You can't possibly tell me their music isn't dark.. you'd only be lying to yourself. They were my second favorite band for 20-some years too. No Christian can possibly listen to their music and not, at the very least, feel conflicted. Examine your faith, seriously. God Bless
