I Iove all doc‘s videos. He explains science in such a simple way, that it’s always all so clear and enlightening to me. I have a question: I’ve been fasting intermittently for over 2 months skipping dinner, with my eating window being 7.30am to 1.30pm. I skip dinner as I find it easier for me than breakfast when I’m the most hungry. If I wake up on weekends and want to go for a run fasted, and to avoid the hunger cravings I drink 1 glass of water w apple cider vinegar, can I still consider myself in a faster state? I live in Dubai and it’s deadly hot here now, apple cider helps me retain the hydration as it has sodium, but I’m not sure it breaks my fast. Please whoever knows, pls, illuminate me :-) (I know I should drink electrolyte water to do a better job w minerals intake , but it’s so expensive out here..)

Hi, i am from Syria and there ACV is fermented naturally and pressed. Nothing is added. The Mother enzyme is usually collected to be added to next fermenting lot. Fermenting in ( not airtight ) jars unlike wine jars are airtight.

I use white vinegar for cleaning my coffee maker, and I when I boil eggs, I put a bit in the water. This helps the cooled eggs peel easier, and if you crack one during boiling, the white stays in the shell. When I consume vinegar, I use the apple cider version. So I keep both around the house.

I started watching Dr. Berg and then you turned up on my KZbin. I’m so grateful to have found both of you. You Dr. Sten Ekberg and Dr. Berg have helped me understand how every and most illnesses really go back to the gut and that has helped me with my sinuses, my burping 😁 and helped me get off of antibiotics. (Almost a full year now) I was on them for more than 2 years (every 1-2 months for 10-15 days at a time) and started to be afraid where my health was going. I started to get infections (especially in my sinuses) more and more. Truly, thank you for helping people like me get a better understanding of my health and stop being *** regular customers of the pharmaceutical industry. (sometimes necessary… but when constant it’s a problem)

I've been taking Bragg's ACV for several years now. I've never had a prescription in my life. The easy way to take it is simple. Keep the bottle in your fridge. The colder it is, the easier it tastes. Shake the bottle and take a big slug right from the bottle, cowboy style. Chase it with a bottle of water. Do this each morning upon rising.

Thanks for clarifying. I have been experimenting not taking ACV for some periods when doing intermittent fasting and and have found that it does help dampening hunger. This effect is less noticeable for me when I'm on strict Keto. I like to have it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach as a part of my morning routine and I don't have a coffee until about 2 hours later. On my fasting days i imagine myself that it helps burning some fat. It is probably just a placebo effect but have convinced myself that it does miracles! At least sticking to a routine helps keeping me motivated 😊! I guess everyone is different but is what I believe I'm feeling actually happening?

I m definitely in the white vinegar camp. If u consume a no sugar added, low fruit, whole foods diet, I find white vinegar adds a very sweet tangy taste to salads of all types and especially soups. I also find it works as a salt substitute to my palate, as it gives foods a salty taste. WV also adds the benefits of a cleaning agent, preservative/pickling agent and I add it to water in my spritzer bottle and spray most refrigerated veg daily to keep them fresh... REALLY works well... hence cost is a benefit. I buy gallon jugs for about $2.70/gal. I NEVER see a quart of Braggs ACV vinegar for a "couple of bucks", it is usually about $5.75/qt=$23.00/gal. Over consumption of white vinegar and tomatoes OR acv can give me mouth sores, but that is easily remedied by a daily 250mg L-Lysine supplement. Been a BIG fan of Dr. Ekberg for years even though I am not Keto; keep pumpin out the videos Sten

When i was a child in the 1950s, people in Normandy ( France) used to drink a very rough cider with a strong vinegary taste as a table drink which they called piquette, this was home produced and not usually sold in shops ( piquette also applies to rough vinegary wine in other French regions). Recently I got into the habit of drinking water with a few mls of ACV for health reasons as described in Dr Ekberg 's video and I must say, this tastes very much like the piquette of my childhood. Ah the memories!! :-)

Both you and others are going on about how white vinegar is made from barley, rice etc. However, there is such a thing as white wine vinegar you know. It can be unfiltered, organic and is made from grapes, of course. Neither you nor other docs I have seen talking about this makes that distinction. But there is a GREAT difference, and I would assume that an unfiltered white wine vinegar with mother still in the bottle should be the same in every way as apple cider vinegar?

Good video.thank you. I live in France and we use lots of RED wine vinegar. If we leave this long enough with the cap loose to allow bacteria to enter, but not flies , even the supermarket cheap brand developes the 'sludge' at the bottom which we will use as a 'starter' and then pour all of the wine we don't drink (that doesn't happen very often!) into the bottle. and make our own. We have lots of vinaigrette on our salads and crudités, so our consumption of vinegar is probably higher than most. I am guessing that the action of red wine vinegar made from grapes, is as good as Apple cider vinegar made from apples?

Not all ACV is unfiltered, unpasteurised. That seems to be an assumption you've made. Wine vinegar can be raw/unfiltered depending on the product. In England we always used brown malt vinegar

Dr. Ekberg, if you have the time, I think it would be a boon to many of us if you could provide some clarity on chronic sinus conditions from your unique and wholistic perspective. If it ties into any of the other health conditions and mechanism you frequently cover, and if there are perhaps natural methods to reduce its impact on day-to-day life, it would be much appreciated if you could deep dive into that and share the information with us. And a sincere "thank you" for your videos - its helping me to resolve multiple health challenges I've been battling for decades.

Here in Europe we tend to use wine vinegar (both white and red) and it's quite easy to find it with the mother; it's also easy to auto-produce it in our pantry. Thanks for this video: now I know I don't need to buy a very expensive ACV when I can use my own instead.
