I made it 13 minutes last time. Now I made it 16 minutes. I'll see you again tomorrow! Update: Made it to 17 minutes, 52 seconds. Update: After a year and an injury and some PT, I got back to this and today I made it through the whole thing without breaks (but with water!). It feels amazing. I'll still be back! Let's see if I can do it again! Update: This is now a regular workout!

Most trainers on these workout videos don't understand the emotional aspect of being overweight or needing a rehab type low impact approach to working out. Your self esteem is not where it used to be when you were fit. So doing this video and hearing his non- pushy, u can do it positivity really makes me do his workout everyday! Thank u so much u make my fitness goals attainable!🌟💯👍

Oh my god I agree so much. His encouragement, reminding you that you can stop and take a drink if you need to, that all that matters is the progress is SO encouraging.

He is fantastic. I felt like his encouragement was so thoughtful as he is thinking of the viewer. Especially someone who is unfit or has not exercised in a long time. Other trainers who do exercises are for "beginners" are to fast, they plaster on the fake smile and the over the top cheery tones as they were out faster expecting the unfit viewer to keep up or do the moves just as easily as the trainers. Plus it is awesome to see his companions heavy set people. It is inspirational.

I’m a 17 year old girl from Japan who has severe depression and anxiety. At 12 I’ve attempted suicide from the amount of bullying I went through from my classmates and teachers just because I could speak English and because I didn’t think like them (cause I was raised in another country I guess?) I stopped going to school and now I’m slowly healing. Today I started my fitness journey here and completed everything with small breaks in between. I have felt proud of myself for the first time in a long time. I still have a long way to go but I will try my best to take care of myself more from now on. His motivational words almost made me cry during the workout too. Thank you so much❤️

"Progress not perfection" Whenever I hear him saying this, it brings tears in my eyes. As far as I remember, I hated my body, never liked the way I look and always wanted to be skinny like many girls around my age. Since social media brought face-tuned perfect bodies, my body images issue got worse, I tried extreme diets and starved myself for the sake of having a skinny body. Even thought I lost lots of pounds, I never found my body looking better and then went back to emotional eating and gaining all the pounds I lost back. Now working on my body-image, trying to be kind to myself and overall accepting what I have, how I look and overall who I am as person. It is really freaking hard. But trying as he says it is progress and not perfection. I'll never be perfect but will be better than a day ago. Each time I exercise with you, I cry at the end, telling myself that I am proud of myself which is really hard for people like me struggling with self-love/confidence/respect. Thank you so much Daniel not only for showing these great moves but also touching the deepest parts of our hearts with your motivational words. You're the best.

2020. My doctor said that I had a fatty liver and my A1c was 14 so I had to do something about my weight now we are in 2024 and I still cannot stress how grateful this trainer had saved my life. I only work out this particular video 30 minutes a day seven days a week faithfully and I have maintained my weight. I was 174 and I am down to 122. I am her eating right and my A1c is 6.1. Keep on going you guys. It doesn’t happen overnight nor a few months it actually took me nine grueling months stay positive and don’t stare at the clock when you work out pretend that you are dancing instead of working out the more you sweat the more you lose weight because of your cardio workout, helpful tips eat lots of chicken breast quinoa broccoli and cauliflower. Veggies are the bulk of the meal. Drink lots of water and get lots of rest. good luck you guys if I can do it and see results in nine months and have maintained for years you can do it too. This guy is named Daniel and Alexandra are awesome. Thank you for saving my life Daniel.

mindset is everything..when you have encouragement, like from this dude, it makes a world of difference. Im now 67, thats still young, but was in a near fatal motorcycle accident in 1985. The physical trauma has progressed ever since then and am now even having problems walking. Ive been wanting to start this for some time now, but kept procrastinating..also, Ive smoked for 56 years which makes it , difficult..because Im having trouble breathing.. with all that, its still attainable. I refuse to think otherwise! So this is day 1, and I might have to pause several times but I refuse (theres that word again) to give up. Why? Same reason many of you have; I feel like crap. So, be 'stubborn', and dont give up, Im worth it and so are you. Its been proven, exercise can improve or even cure a host of problems, and you can lose weight too..how excellent is that? :) By the way..this is the ONLY workout video Ive bookmarked..

HOWEVER, being a single mom I could not afford to keep paying for that and the weight came back. No workout video that I have found on the web is as INSPIRING as yours. I love that not everyone in the videos are already super in shape. Up til my early 20s I was 115 lbs. Now I am 310lbs. This is my new addiction, I love this video and one other I have saved from you. I sweat more after these videos than I do walking on the treadmill for an hour (which I hate). I have not finished a video yet but I push to last longer every day. THANK YOU for helping me have hope (and making the videos free).

I found this after my PT ordered me to do at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise every day. I'm young, but I am seriously overweight- and this... this video is absolutely amazing. I have yet to make it through the entire video- but it feels very doable with this. I'm very self-conscious about my body and how it moves, and even though I do this by myself, I feel just a little less dumb about how I move with this routine. Trainer is amazing- and I can't wait until I'm fit enough to try all of his other videos.

Wow, I could cry right now from happiness! 2 years ago I was doing your more advanced workouts. Then I suffered a pretty severe back injury. Fast forward to now I've gained 30 lbs and I'm very out of shape from a slow recovery. I've just now gotten to where I can exercise very very lightly but everything I come across is too difficult and I get scared of hurting myself. Even beginner videos are too intimidating to me right now because I watch half way thru and I know "Nope, can't do that". Finally a real 100% beginner video I can do! And I appreciate so much that you have fitness people along side you who more closely resemble my physique because it motivates me in saying to myself "She can do it, I can do it!" From the bottom of my heart and my poor injured back, thank you SO much for this video!

I'm thankful for this video. I'm a 50 yr. old female and I was recently diagnosed with borderline pre- diabetes so alongside with the medicine I was put on the doctor told me to exercise and eat healthier. I'm not over weight just out of shape and a huge taste for sweets then I found this beginners video that was just right for me. I joined a gym after the doctor told me about exercise but, I have not went so far due to hardly any motivation to go, thoughts of looking stupid in there and thinking about Covid-19. This video motivated me because, it was good for beginners and I was home and didn't have to worry about looking stupid or worry about coronavirus from being around others. I recommend this video to any beginners, it's great! :)

I've been doing these workouts for the past couple weeks and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. These made me realise that I don't need a fancy gym membership or a massive empty room to workout in (the two excuses for not getting fit that I made a lot), but I only need the motivation. Not only do your workouts encourage the growth and maintenance of motivation, but help everyone rekindle that motivation that they may have lost - definitely the case for me. For this video, I grabbed a couple 1kg weights and went at it: working harder than I ever have before! I began at 125kg a couple weeks ago, and I'm already down to 120kg. Keep these videos up, man. They're literal lifesavers.

I'm 93 kgs at 23 years old. I have polycystic ovary syndrome and had the biggest scare of my life from a PCOS fb group, from someone who didn't take action at a much earlier stage. I hope it's not too late for me. Today is my second day of trying to lose weight. I am currently on a cool down when I stumbled upon Body Project's videos and reading the comments here is very encouraging and moving to me... I will give this workout a try. Day 1 of this workout (11/7, 11:11am) I wasn't able to finish it. I stopped at mark 20:52. There will come a time that I will be able to finish the whole workout and more. I am not giving up. Today, I started. Nowhere else to go but forward. (11/9) I missed yesterday's workout, but I did 30 minutes on the bike. Today I finished the workout at 8:35am. Paused twice, maybe five times to catch my breath. My mother walked in on me while doing the workout, stopping me, and I guess you can imagine whose face is in my head when I was doing the punches. I'm so sick and tired of being told that I'm not good enough, that I can't, basically saying that I'm not capable of change. GUESS WHAT, MOTHER. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 5 DAYS NOW AND I'M DOING THIS FOR ME. AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME. I was in tears while doing the workout (even now that I'm typing this) and didn't feel tired until the 20 minute mark. I'll remember today, and all the times I've been rejected and said no to. I'll use it as fuel to propel me forward. I love myself enough to not listen to all the negative things you throw at me. I am making progress, and I AM ENOUGH.
