@baby bean what I meant was that the trainer focus on making her moving more fluently rather than just toning her body and building some booty. And Functional Training is not just about exercise you actually do in everyday life, there are complimentary exercises to fix your posture such as the bands pullapart, Y raises to fix your posture thus allow for an more unrestricted movement throughout. The final cap for all that is: he's focusing on training her for movement not just bodybuilding.

@baby bean You do realize that "athletic" can cover a range of physiques right? A cross-country runner isn't going to look like a weight lifter, and a swimmer isn't going to look like a track and field athlete. Build depends on what sport we're talking about, but they're all still athletic. She has slender muscles, but based on those exercises they're still strong.

@Steven Hunt First of all, I can't believe you're comparing a real life human to a drawing. But if we're going to go there: you do realize that she has been drawn in vastly different ways in the comics, right? For example: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/S/cmx-images-prod/Item/672995/672995._SX360_QL80_TTD_.jpg Not hourglass at all. But lets use your logic for a sec, shall we...? Here's a pic of Wonder Woman in the comics: media.fromthegrapevine.com/assets/images/2016/6/wonder-woman-DC-75.jpg.480x0_q71_crop-scale.jpg Yet no one said shit about Gal Gadot's physique. Steven Hunt Awww, did the little man-baby snowflake get triggered because his argument was invalidated? 😢 But seriously, my point flew right over your head. *Cap Marvel is drawn completely differently depending on the artist, so we can't say any one interpretation is the "correct" one* . And let's be clear... this video was how to get functional strength, not how to look like a vixen. If you really need to get your jollies looking at voluptuous women (like that photo you linked earlier), there is an entire industry just for that. Meanwhile, the rest of us will watch Marvel movies for more than the eye candy. Edit: Also, you never answered my questions about Hugh and Gal... how convenient.

SaBr 417 please don’t tell me you watch Marvel for more than eye candy. You couldn’t be watching for the story or acting. Even character development is pretty binary. (Not including Black Panther and Infinity War). Though as you can tell by the popularity is wasn’t written for the purveyors of cinematic arts but for the masses. The one kudoni have to give is that the well written ones (Black Panther and Infinity War) could not have become popular without the clout of the cheesy franchise before it.

That’s just the way it is with superheroes. male superheroes-Broad shoulders, large biceps, dorito-shaped upper body, v-line, pronounced Jawline(optional), etc. female- slim waist, skinny but lightly toned arms, sizable breasts, sizable butt, general hourglass figure, Feminine beauty face, flawless hair, etc. These people are acting as superheroes. They’re supposed to showboat this fantasy of overly masculinized and overly feminized heroines and heroes, so don’t feel insecure about it, because it’s literally part of their job, part of their CONTRACT to look the part, and considering the criteria I just mentioned above, I can, indeed, see why Captain Marvel may not fit the bill for many people. I’m not saying *I* don’t like Captain Marvel’s lack of booty. I really don’t give a damn. I can just merely deduce why some people would disapprove of her body, and I think it’s very important to understand the people who you don’t agree with. It enlightens you.

@brandonbaldwin8567
@brandonbaldwin8567 5 жыл бұрын
Doing that many isometrics in one workout really isn’t that great. To strengthen the muscles needed to do the pull up as quickly as possible, it would be far better to do assisted full pull ups using bands or the assisted pull up machine. Then move on to eccentric pull ups. That way you train in the full range of motion of the pull up, and use the muscles involved in the pull up with movement instead of just contracting isometrically. Those isometrics aren’t really bad, there’s just more efficient ways to progress faster.

Both male and female superheroes have super huge biceps, abs, big butts, jawlines, etc. Just show them this list.

I'm a bit worried at how the trainer is not picking up the poor form Brie has in some of her workout videos. Like the glute bridge on bench. Sure, you can press much more weight when not going for full extension, but other than that it looks cool, you get don't get quite as much 'gain' from it and can even seriously harm yourself. Also her knee positioning is awkward at times, which could mean serious injuries at some point. This doesn't have anything to do with the way she looked; she looks absolutely great and definitely deserves a cookie!

Try to pick up the pieces and move forward in spite of the fact that her grip on the bar may not have been exactly as you think it should have been. It will be hard at first, but in time you will think about it less and less and one day you will have inner peace again. God bless you. Never give up.

The thing with ibu for muscle pain (not real injuries or other medical issues) is that you don't notice as much how tired you are and overestimate your working capacity which can lead to your body breaking down or you getting really hurt. I'm not general against pain meds but taking them for pure muscle soreness is just unnecessary and may even lead to you being ore prone to injuries. I'd recommend all the salty boys commenting on this video saying that Brie doesn't look fit enough go check out Max Chewning's channel so they can maybe comprehend that genetics is primarily responsibly for how our muscles grow and gain strength. Max is tiny and can deadlift upwards of 700lbs. Some people's bodies just aren't designed to show muscle tone like Fitspo influencers.

i dont wanna hear from men about her lack of butt until they have a sick pack and bulging arm muscles...ridiculous right? holding someone to a standard of societal perfection is unhealthy. if you’re here to troll and hate, kindly take several seats

@baby bean you lost me with that ''just a fact'' bit. Why should a butt size be qualification for a superhero? ''Oh look they have a flat butt, guess they can't save the world then!''

You do realize physical strength comes from big muscles correct? Big strong glutes and legs allows you to do more explosive heavier exercises. Sorry, but being built like a board does not make a super hero as believable.

Brie's body build when she was Captain Marvel was so beautiful and inspiring. I was never really into the curvy, model type. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful (as all women are) but it's not something I wanted on myself. But when I saw how a woman can have amazing arm and back muscle like Brie's, and her upper body strength, it inspired me to work out. Still working on it, but I hope to be as ripped as her someday!

very definitely adding the dumbell total body complex into my workouts, think it will definitely help with my shot put because of the dynamic speed in the excercise, will be recommending this to some of my athletes i coach

Gimmicky workout! This coach doesn't know what he is talking about! Foam rolling... 😅... pad under chest... the "best stretch in the world"... superfluous muscle activation... and "finishers"...this video is totally hilarious. Brie's trainer probably binge-watched Athlean X. 🤪
