Stuff I’d like to see: A quick video update on things you have shown in the past like how’s your weather station working out. How are the trees that you planted with Morgan? Do you still use the solar lights you bought in the yard? What have you used on the homestead that you thought would be awesome but ended up ditching? Stuff like that.

One of the easiest recipe for Scones is 2.5 cups of SR flour, 250mls of cream and 1 can of Lemonade soda. ( I have NO idea what that translates into for US ). Mix altogether and flatten out. Cut how you want and baste with Milk and/or egg on top. Bake. YUMMO!

there is an easy way to get your rope through the branches of the tree, take a piece of string long enough to reach where you wannt go and back down again, tie some weight on the end of the string, which you can easily throw through the branches of your tree. then tie the loose end of the string to the larger rigging rope and pull it up and through

Yo, mate! Absolutely love the channel. I've been following for quite a bit now. Learned tons new things. Very much appreciated! I like to also follow Steve's Small Engine Saloon. Tons of info and things to learn there. I find that being able to fix/maintain lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other small engine power tools/equipment helps to keep my stress levels down. It also helps curb my anxiety. I'm not always worrying about those things. I have more confidence in knowing that when something goes wrong or breaks that I know that I can fix the problem without many tools or expensive parts. Idk, it just helps me all around to not be such a worry worm. lol

A Vanilla or Lemon glaze would be perfect! 1 to 1 1/2 cups of Powdered sugar. Add a small amount of Water, whole milk, and vanilla or lemon zest. Mix.Test for thickness, add more PS if necessary. Take a Ziplock bag, turn down the edge and place in a medium size glass. Then take your glaze and add it to the bag, seal up the bag, clip a small hole in the corner and drizzle over your scones. Any left over glaze can be stored in the same glass and refrigerated. Enjoy!

Pretty light transmission and transfer case.. didn't have to work hard on the tree but be careful. That's why the seals went out on Kabota. You run it with front tires in air when bucket down and spin tires ripping seals. Especially in cold, if can disengage front end when using bucket down pressure would be best.

Use NON-Ethanol gas in all your small motors and they will not give you the problems that regular gas gives. The corn alcohol eats the plastic tubes and tiny gaskets in carburetors. I got that from a "small motor" mechanic and since taking his advise, my equipment always starts and I have not had to take them in for repair every year.

Hi Al, Just a thought on your new chicken brooder design. It is obvious the chicks really dislike the door on their side being opened. The tarp shields you put on the sides work pretty well to help them stay warm in the coop when you use the other. However they will get an arctic blast every time their door opens and it is cold outdoors like it always is this time of year. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to not use their door while they are small. Maybe you could, later this year, do a remodel video and eliminate that door and replace the separation wall with an upside down dutch door ( a short solid the bottom to step over) on one side and a swing wall that locks in position, or out of the way on the the other. Keep the chick strainer bottom rails in the wall but make them sealable for the warm brooder times. Good luck with the new greenhouse. I can hardly wait to see you build it up. It will be a great addition to your homestead. One more degree of food freedom. WOOHOO !!! BTW - You forgot to add the internal wall video you made on 2/27 to your chicken/chick brooder video playlist.
