The vegetable biryani looked so good! Nice video. I too love going to farmer's markets, so this is a good idea as the vegetables are so fresh and will be amazing when eaten fresh on the day!

Thank you for your videos. I love making roasted vegetables. My favorite salad is made from roasted beets, onion slices, and segments of any citrus. The beets might need more time roasting before adding the oinions and citrus. I save all peels from the organic citrus I use and dry the peels. I then grind the peels into powder and save the powder(s) for cooking. I have containers of orange, lime, lemon, and tangerine. They are all a little different.

Oh that’s a great idea!!! I actually dry lemon peels too but usually just put them in my morning tea. I will try putting them in my roast dishes too!! Thank you❤️

Thank you so much! Your dishes looked so amazing. How embarrassing - I grew up in NZ but never heard of NZ Spinach 😱 I love your recipes because you add modern Japanese twists to every recipe (i.e. adding shiokoji or other kojis or using interesting Japanese ingredients). Much more interesting than the usual Western vegan recipes or shojin ryori (which no-one has time to make). Your friends are very lucky to be able to eat your food! And don't worry - reading subtitles is good because when you introduce an ingredient we have never heard of before, we can check the spelling and look it up!

Thank you!! English subtitle is now up! Hope you enjoy the video❤️ Yes, there must be something that people think is Japanese but we never really use or see here! (Can’t think of it now though..haha) I’m a minimalist when it comes to cooking so koji condiments are super great! You just add shio (salt) koji and that alone makes everything taste sooo good🤤 hope you give it a try💕

Tamari! When we went to Tokyo and tried to be gluten free, most restaurants and shops and supermarkets had never heard of tamari and asked us whether it was a foreign ingredient!!! We had to explain to them that it is a Japanese ingredient but we could tell that they didn't believe us 😆
