Gabby having an Onisian style meltdown while DRIVING, actually made me angry! She is going to hurt someone if she can't control herself at least when driving!
@foximoxi85333 жыл бұрын
The thing is, Gabbie wasn’t receiving a lot of hate until AFTER she decided to attack other creators seemingly out of nowhere. Her first victim was Rachel Oates. Gabbie sent Rachel her poetry book to review and critique, so when Rachel gave the book an honest (and harsh) review, Gabbie lost it and demanded the video be taken down. Rachel didn’t take it down and months later Gabbie decided to gather her patreon crew and get them to bully and report Rachel’s social media profiles. That alone escalated into a ton of drama between Gabbie and a bunch of other creators that disagree with her actions. Yea, at this point people are like “fuck you bitch” but in the beginning a lot of her “haters” were like “Girl, you NEED to get help”

Because mental health in America is on a steady decline and has been romanticized and normalized to the point we just accept it. In 2007 we were like holy shit that's the craziest you can get, even though that's not how the public should have reacted. Now it's just sort of like an everyday thing. So many people have shit wrong with them and have social media feeding into their ego and making their mental health worse that it's a vicious cycle. Now we just sort of sweep it under the rug or make videos like these making fun of these people or berating them or whatever. The public still doesn't know how to deal with it. And I don't care for Gabbie Hanna by any means but she really needs to dip out of the "lime light" for a while, find out what's going on with herself and work towards fixing it rather than just going on this downward spiral on social media till she fizzles out.

I stopped using twitter about two weeks ago and I've been significantly more mentally healthy. It was kind of shocking how much that platform negatively affected me and I practically had no followers. I can't imagine how much of a negative impact it has on someone who has thousands of followers. All the negativity on there is too much for people who already suffer from bad mental health

@kristacalai97733 жыл бұрын
Ever since I deleted Twitter and limited my use of Instagram (only go on to post my art and go) I have been a much happier person. I’m 21, I’ve actively used both apps since I was 12/13. Both apps caused me to be insanely insecure. Now I live my life, plant my plants and do my little art and I am so fucking happy. I’m not taking photos of things just to post them, I’m either enjoying the moment or capturing it to enjoy later, like cameras were originally invented for. I implore anyone on the fence of deleting social media to just do it for a summer. You won’t miss much and you will heal a shit ton.

If I was someone in Gabbie's life, I'd urge her to get out of the spotlight and do some normal living for a while, some of which may include expressing these outbursts to a professional instead of in front of thousands of people already primed to mock her. There's more to life than fame, and if fame is stealing your happiness, you can live without it. Thrive even. It's like she's in a toxic relationship with being seen, and connects her worth to it.

idk why she's singing bo burnham's songs and acting like that makes her profound or whatever when shes not even the one who wrote them 💀
@FunnyMonkey7813 жыл бұрын
Ironically trying to make them out as profound is the type of behavior and personality that Bo's songs make fun of. Not to say there isnt anything profound in his material, but when someone like gabbie tries to use the songs to be inspirational comes off as tone deaf and sort of shows she doesn't really understand the material.

She is one of those people that thinks they are depressed because they aren’t happy ALL the time. Depressed when it suits them and their needs, not depressed anymore when it doesn’t.
@OdellM5203 жыл бұрын
I think I’ve heard that there are a few disorders that she thinks neurodivergent. You know, like she has the knowledge, knowhow, and right to decide what does and doesn’t count, especially when I doubt she’s done ANY research on psychology or neuroscience unless it’s a 15 minute skim to cherry pick what she needs. It’s unsafe and might push people not to seek treatment because Gabbie Hanna told them they “don’t actually have a mental illness”. Like girl, stop gatekeeping mental illness by spreading misinformation.
@tyceohollow3 жыл бұрын
Depressive narcissism. Dated someone just like that it was agonizingly awful. When I was struggling with being depressed it was like "oh well I'm never depressed why don't you be like me" and then when she was depressed it was like "no one understands how sad I am" coming from someone who had a pretty good life parents that loved her etc. Needless to say she treated me really bad and when I told her I should be treated better I was broken up with. She later apologized but still that shit sucked. But it is a thing that depressive narcissism :/

I think a lot of Gabbie's issues stem from her being manipulated by Shane Dawson in the past, and constantly bullied and made fun of by the V-log Squad about her appearance. She seems to be going through a manic state at the moment.
