This video randomly popped up on my feed so I watched it. I really enjoyed the game she spits. For YEARS, my daughters father & I had a horrible relationship. We couldn’t co-parent at all. We barley spoke, when we did it was ugly. We would exchange our child back n fourth through his mom. I hated it. I would get on my knees, crying, praying, begging God for a healthy relationship with my bd for our child’s sake. (and also for my own mental.) I hated fighting with him. It drained me, we just hurt one another over & over, BECAUSE WE WERE HURT. (Hurt ppl hurt ppl… it’s true.) He moved out of his ex girls house, (yes she added drama & problems for us.) but that’s besides the point. He moved into his own house, and all of a sudden our relationship completely changed. I softened my heart, forgave, apologized, and decided to move forward with his & my relationship with nothing but love. Not for him. For our human being that WE created & WE share! Prayer works… for the last 3 yrs our relationship has grown so incredibly beautiful. We go to all of our child’s school/extracurricular activities together. We use to sit apart, now we sit & celebrate OUR daughter TOGETHER. When I cook dinner, he always asks for a plate. (I guess he doesn’t worry I’ll poison him nowadays lol) We communicate great, we do everything for our baby & women need to realize… one day, this will be the same man I have to sit next to when our child graduates middle school, high school, (& hopefully college) he’s the same mf I have to sit next to when our daughter walks down the isle one day, so I might as well make sure I sit next to a friend to celebrate our most precious baby girl instead of an enemy. God is good.

Awwwww pumpkin..I'm sorry, that can be tough. The best advice I can give you is, start to focus on you. When we are in painful or uncomfortable situations alot of the time we can be tempted to look outward for answers. However, that mindset is based off of illusions because you MUST go within to find peace. Ask yourself questions like - what did I contribute to the breakdown of this relationship? How did this person treat me? How did it end? Were we really soulmates? Did I ever get intuitive feelings about how this person really felt about me and ignored them? Then answer them HONESTLY as hard as that may be. Sometimes we can also feel like "she" won and took our family away from us but you have no idea what struggles they may face in their relationship - no situation is perfect. Also, even if this other woman didn't exist, that doesn't mean you and your BD would be in a relationship so don't give her that much credit. Begin to purge those insecure thoughts from your mind and again focus on bettering yourself. That's one of the only things that TRULY make the pain go away.

Wow the last 10 minutes of this video ... spoke to me. Hi Jennifer, any update on your situation? Something similar happened to me 3 months ago. My son's dad and now future daughter's dad left our home because he was no longer happy with our relationship. Two days after he left I found out I was pregnant, this pregnancy has been very hard to say the least. He also wants to be part of our kids life but my feelings from being so hurt get in the way and sometimes I also get those selfish thoughts of just keeping the kids to myself and disappear from him.

Camila Andrea , thankfully we ended up trying to be together and talked about the things we need to fix. I think the fact he actually saw our first son be born and spent days with us he realized it was worth trying for . But getting back to how we were before has been difficult there’s time I feel like he’s only there for my son but I know he loves me , and it’s just going to take us time to get there it takes patience. My advice to you is stay strong for your kid I think if he would’ve left I would’ve still let him be in his life but w boundaries and if he’s willing to do things with you during your pregnancy let him not for you but for the baby but if it’s too hard emotionally don’t just keep him updated send sonogram pictures and leave it at that. I know it’s hard trust me but it’s not about us anymore it’s about the baby. When she’s born and you guys discuss when he can see them wait until you feel ready and set the rules that YOU want because your the mom and he’s could’ve been there 24/7 but he doesn’t want that. When your feelings aren't yet resolved with someone with whom you had a relationship with and even moreso a baby, it can seem impossible to see your life without them in it. However, we can NOT control the future. We attempt, to keep us from feeling any emtional pain or discomfort but that is where our growth lies! Don't be afraid to be sad when you need to but at the same time don't feel sorry for yourself. Have confidence in knowing though it's hard now, you eventually will come back better. Idk if your going to see this but, I’m going through it with my BD as well. Our baby was conceived by the way you described in the first part of the video, we were hanging out and messing around for a few months and then I got pregnant. When he first found out he ghosted me for about a month and then he came back…. I’m a firm believer in “ a baby doesn’t keep a man” but deep down inside I was hoping that something would potentially come from it down the line. Like maybe instead of us going our separate ways with other people and co-parenting, we could at least try to be in a relationship and raise our child under the same roof first and if it doesn’t work then fine, at least we tried. Things didn’t work out that way. I felt like when our daughter was born, since he was always at the house and buying flowers, and flirting that maybe something was developing but, when I mentioned a “ relationship “ he said “ not right now, not saying it won’t happen but, not right now” …. Didn’t sit well with me but I continued to mess around with him, he was at my house 24/7 in my bed, worrying about who was on my phone, he was taking me out and I’m thinking because of the fact that it’s been almost a year maybe something has changed, so we got on the topic of a relationship again and this time he straight up just said “ he doesn’t want a relationship “ and when I tried to express where I was coming from, he acted confused as if we wasn’t just playing house….. but yea.

I have all of the above. I am like a super chill & supportive baby mom. I love seeing him & my child together. He even has his girl ( i saw her in his car yesterday) , no matter how nice i am to him, he still treats me like crap. He is rude and petty. I don't get it. A few weeks ago he inboxed me asking for forgiveness and thanking me for giving him such a beautiful gift (our daughter). Days later after he asked for forgiveness he started being petty again. I can just feel his energy is so off & bitter. I recently went on vaca with my daughter i take care of my own home, i provide for my daughter and take her on vaca, ever since i told him, he started acting jeleous. Saying stuff like.. well atleast you can go on a vacation, atleast you finished college bla bla bla, a few months ago he offered to help me around the house, he came and set up some furniture for me which i appreciated and he called me like babe you know a bit flirty, that was like in may. I asked him a few days ago if he could help me with a bathroom cabin and he said he would help me the following weekend, fast forward a month later he spitefully never came and helped me with the cabin. One moment he is nice, next moment he is cold and rude. I don't get him anymore. Last weekend he called me out of the blue to talk about our daughter. K cool. We had a nice respectfull convo, fast forward a week later, i asked him can i have 5 minutes to talk about something, he said no he is in a rush (he had girlfriend in car)he left then 5 min later he starts texting me and being rude. Like what is wrong with him? Like you have a whole girlfriend and y'all playing house, i am super chill and supportive of him and my daughter having a relationship. I make sure my baby girl looks good, hair combed well dressed just well presented when daddy comes to get her, he even compliments how beautiful she is. He sees me minding my business and taking care of my side of things. Yet i feel like he secretly hates me or something idc. ( I left him btw). But i would think he would be happy with his new girl. Why is he being bitter and crazy one moment treats me right, next moment treats me like crap.Why is he not happy amd excited about his new relationship? Like i would be!! I wouldn't be soo bitter if i had a new boo. Any advise would be appreciated

In as least words as I can, I just really want to drive the point home about self love. I know it's a topic we hear about all the time, especially in 2020, but on a spiritual level this really means wrapping yourself in warmth, light and love at ANY and ALL costs. When we find ourselves sharing space with people, male or female, that do not promote that same warmth, light and love within us, then we have officially lost our way. Your BD is on his own walk in life and though any physical violence towards a woman is just a no go point blank period, it doesn't suggest that he's evil, unlovable, or without a story of his own that brought him to places in his life that I'm sure he regrets. Think about how you love your child...you would run through the forrest naked while it's burning down to save your child. You pour everything you have into your children because you know they're relying on you to make it out here. Self-love is the equivalent of loving your children the way you do - you have to love on yourself just like that. I think that's a great place to begin and I hope your BD is seeking therapy, spiritual healing, or a getting to know himself for the sake of your child. Thats where I would think you both need to start and then step by step with God's help, you can begin to piece your life back together. Not necessarily, to be together but to have a healthy co-parenting relationship. Stay strong beautiful!!!!!!

My situation was a little crazy. I dated my bd for almost a year and then off and on for another year. We weren’t official bc I didn’t want to be. I had feelings for him but I also was iffy bc it was a bit of a love triangle, but then also he already had two kids and I just graduated from college so I was nervous to date bc I didn’t want to play the stepmom role. Whew it’s the forgiveness part. I’m struggling with it bc when I got pregnant our relationship wasn’t solid he had another woman but kept dealing with me. I mean we were done but not done but done if you know what that means. When I got pregnant I didn’t feel the need to reassure we was together. Hey babes...thank you for reaching out and sharing! No judgement on abortion...I've experienced that and it was so hard. However, we can't force someone to see or love us in a certain way. They have to come to that place on their own. Also it's not healthy babes to try to undo the lack of your father being there by forcing a situation for a 2 parent household. Your main priority should be communicating with your BD openly so he can be a great father and he doesn't have to be under the same roof for that. If you still have unresolved emotions with him, take time to journal and reflect on it. Yes it will be painful, heartbreak always is but I PROMISE you will get through it. You may think the abortion is the reason he left but it may have been an out for him. Just because we have a baby with someone, it doesn't mean they're our soul mates. Also sometimes, things take time. He may not even be with this girl in a couple months. Give it time!
