I buy frozen blocks of spinach and cut them up into cubes for smoothies. Way more spinach gets packed into your smoothie vs. raw spinach

SAME! I blend it with some orange juice and collagen powder and chug it! Sprouts sells a power blend. It has baby red chard, kale and spinach so I like going for that over the plain spinach.

@jennys19834 жыл бұрын
F Yes, that’s why they’re ground up alive when they’re separated from the females, who have been born to lay eggs. If it weren’t for the egg industry, they wouldn’t be born, separated from the female chicks, then killed, so if you’re buying eggs, free range or otherwise, you’re supporting this practice. It’s just part of the industry, you don’t have to believe me, you can Google it. I saw it on a TV show called “How Do They Do That,” for example, it’s just standard practice.

I seriously can't describe how much I love grocery shopping lol! I could spend hours at the store lol so random! Anyways, my tip would be: - if you buy avocados, make sure 2 are ripe and the other ones hard as a rock, so they last longer. And if you make guacamole, leave the seed in it so it doesn't go brown so fast. -always check your eggs at the store, to see if they're broken or damaged. Blessings!💕🤗

I’ve found that ordering groceries for pick up has been most efficient for me. I’m not distracted by all the random stuff and I can see a running tally of what I’m spending so I can stay on budget better. I can also not only cross reference my list, but cross reference my pantry. Grocery pick up is almost always free as well. It has made sticking to a specific list and budget a lot easier.

Love this! As someone who worked at a grocery store, Sunday’s are in fact the worst day to shop. Saturday afternoon and even evenings during warmer weather are also bad. And any week day evening 3-6. Optimal time is as soon as the store opens on a week day! I myself go on Saturdays around 8am. In light of everything going on this might not be applicable for everyone but money wise it’s also optimal to go to multiple stores, really annoying but it can save a lot of money!

One thing I use that works is if your looking for an item and theres three rows of it look at the top and bottom. they are typically cheaper then eye level.. Hi Dana and rob My tip at the supermarket would be To really assess whether you're getting a good deal, look at the price per ounce rather than the total cost. A family pack of chicken breasts, for example, will cost you more total but often be a better deal per pound (and you can freeze what you don't use right away!). But things like a tri-pack of peppers can seem like a good deal until you catch a peak at the price by weight (loose is usually cheaper in this case). Thanks Dana and rob for the content I appreciate all the hard work that goes into these videos

hey dlb! so a trick/tip that i follow is to make sure to always read nutrition labels for packaged foods even if ive been buying them for a while--companies always switch stuff / add extra things to foods we dont normally suspect, like for example i noticed you got skippy--you mustve overlooked the label cause theres a ton of sugar in that compared to a natural PB and even the kombucha, the kevita brand actually adds sugar whereas a brand like synergy uses the fruit itself as a sweetener. like its such a common sense tip right--read the labels! but i feel like ppl often overlook it for "basics" like PB cause we dont suspect crap to lurk in there
