Ingredients and Measurements:
To grind the split peas/dhal:
1/2 cup split peas
1 cup water
To mix the pholourie:
ground split peas
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. yeast
1 tsp. turmeric/dye
2 tbsp. green seasoning
6 cloves garlic crushed
4 wiri wiri peppers crushed
1.5 tsp salt (use more or less depending on taste)
2.5 cups flour
more water to mix into a soft dough
oil to fry (about 4-5 cups)
