not really surprising but the woman who raised this man had to adopt his kids when he was unfit and one of those kids is a mom at 16 so it just goes back generations and Grandma probably had a rough childhood too. This guy is a clown and an obvious F up but 8 years in prison for $50 headlights???!!! Wtf?? They give less time to child molesters. Make this make sense. On a lighter note, I love Judge Boyd and have nothing but the upmost respect for her, and the way she handles her court. For her to take the time of her life to attend the graduations of those she sends to drug court is a beautiful thing.

@@carolbabb7875 listen to what he said he got affiliated once he got locked up his first time probably just as protection thing. Cause in a lot of prisons down there and west coast or mid west have a lot race on race shit. Where u have gangs that are all tied together you will have blacks, then hispanics and whites only hanging with each other. it's crazy how that still is a thing but. It very much is and makes me never want to get locked up anywhere.

He got adjudication, which means he is now on probation but if he continues to go down the wrong road, and reoffends, he’s going to prison for 8 years.

Why was he in jail for that long over something so small? Sentenced to 8 years over a $50 headlight????😊

Probably because he couldn't make bail and no one cared enough/had money to bail him out, so he sat there waiting for the slower-than-frozen-molasses court system to get to his hearing.

It is not about $50 lights. It is a business to steal to sell . It is a way of life. It is generational repetitive behavior and yet they don't see that they continue to enslave themselves. The great grandchild doesn't stand a chance.

Today hes stealing headlights, next he's robbing one of you or your children for drugs or money. He's an adult and no one is playing games with him. If you can't get a job like everyone else or simply ask someone if you need money or help before resulting to steal or take from someone else you may need to be in jail until you get that understanding. I know children who understand this simple concept.

His attorney is doing her job but I get tired of these attorneys smiling and singing their clients wonderful job of living their lives. I know very well it’s her job. And this guys already been in prison….why is he stealing headlights? And another freaking child being brought into this world by a 15 or 16 yo. And I’m tired of prosecutors bending over backwards to plead these things down or gone. The whole thing is a mess here. Until we start requiring more of ourselves and those we are raising this cycle will continue on and on. Children won’t know who their parents are or their grandparents the way this is going.
