I said it before - if people want to hear the songs without interruptions or rewinds, then they should listen to the official video. It's not rocket science. This is a reaction channel, and you're reacting. Pause, rewind, comment, do it all - you're doing it right.

In case you've ever wondered, when you ask "should I rewind" to us, your audience, I'm always vigorously nodding "yes, of course"! Sure do love watching your facial expressions to the older tunes. They are priceless. When my Mom (then 76) was having a surgery approx. 12 years ago, they couldn't put her out completely and had to do a local anesthesia. She remained awake during the surgery and one of the nurses apologized to her beforehand that the surgeon liked to listen to Bob Seger tunes while performing surgery. My Mom just laughed in delight and said "make sure he cranks it up then". Old Time Rock And Roll was definitely a favourite of hers and my Dad's. Both have passed on now but I can still see them dancing the jive to this song. Good memories.

You'll love it! Actor Tom Cruise gave this song new life in the 1983 film "Risky Business". Tom dances to Old Time Rock and Roll in his underwear. He was wearing a shirt and socks too. I'm sure you'd rather see Bob Seger performing it, but the video of Tom Cruise dancing to it should be seen as well. It's pretty iconic. I think it was an M-TV video that put this song back on the charts.

Yes, some cool songs to listen to. “Her strut” and Against the Wind. You’re awesome to be digging up this rocker. If you ever listen to Glen Fry from the Eagles. Before he past he mentioned on an interview. How his mother banded his m from hanging out with Bob Seger because they were smoking devils lettuce. Crazy interview.

Bangingest song ever!!! This is where Bob Seger's genius really comes to the fore. This song is the refined and concentrated essence of Rock & Roll - no one else even comes close to what he does here. Also, this song is guaranteed to pick you up by the scruff of your neck and THROW you out onto the dance floor. Whether you can dance or not .....

This song was brought to him by a couple of song writers, Bob liked the song but he felt it needed a few changes so he added to it but didn’t take any song writing credit for it , he let these guys have it and all the money that came from this song!! Thought that was pretty cool!!!

Saw Bob in 1980. His sax player on this is Alto Reed (R.I.P.). Very talented sax player. I forget which song it was, but when it came time for Alto's solo he was all the way up in the rafters of the building and the spotlights found him and he rocked out a solo from 100 feet up. Great show. Great band.

The song was recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Sheffield, Alabama. Studio musicians were used, probably including the sax player. Bob liked the demo done there for OldTime Rock and Roll. He tried to do it with his band (Silver Bullet Band), did not like the sound, so he just used the Muscle Shoals demo track. Interesting story about the guitar player- he was a kid passing through town with his parents and they stopped to visit the studio. He caught the owners at a slow time and asked if he could bring his guitar in and play. They let him play along with this track, and his guitar is what remained on the record. When it became a hit, he returned and tried to get a job at the studio but was turned down.

The look on your face when we can tell you are really loving the music is priceless and brings a smile to all of our faces! Dont even consider those people who complain! They can go elsewhere, in the meantime we will be here to enjoy you doing your thing!

When my Daughter was 6 months, sitting in her high chair, she would keep perfect beat to this song. My Hubby and I are in our early 70's now and still love this song. 🎶

This is one of the most iconic songs in 80s movies. I always think of Tom Cruise. If you want to rewind the songs, then do it. You have more passion for music than most channels. Most just listen and dont really appreciate it. Love to see young people discover new music. If you like sax in music, then try Never Tear Us Apart by IXNS. One of the biggest Australian bands along with AC/DC.
